He was not skinny, he was lean. And this was the peak shape of his life. I like him when he was more chunky, but frankly speaking, he was so agile and vivid in the first 3 seasons, remember when he would dance and make weird moves when he get a vision? He was so expressive, these days he would just put his finger on his tempers and that's it. It was different for sure, I think they all have their charm, I prefer the early seasons shawn, he was also much more rude to everyone, more raw if you will. Guess we all have to mature one day. X)

See, Shawn was actually really really smart in the earlier seasons. He could answer academy questions and his observational skills were unmatched by anyone else. I guess he got lazy in later seasons... he gets outmatched pretty quickly...

I guess this is one way to see it, but I always thought of it as Shawn not trying as hard to make sure the SDPD didnt arrest him. The crazier he got, more shenanigans, just made it easier for the SDPD to let him slide, do his thing without the extra effort to keep it grounded.

I agree, by season 4/5 and later he felt less intelligent, as if they'd moved away from his observational skills to focus more on the over the top comedy, except the comedy was then at Shawn's expense instead of just funny. I hated that. The first 3 seasons are my favorite.

Shawn was certainly running circles around other characters a lot of the time in the beginning. I think they had to make him more and more irresponsible in order to lighten Shawn's/Roday's workload and to give other characters more to do. I love the writers, but it was almost like they were trying too hard to put the blame on Shawn when things weren't going right, such as "A Very Juliet Episode." ( *SPOILER WARNING* ) * * Scott Seaver was in witness protection and it was his own fault (and perhaps the fault of authorities who didn't make it clear enough on how to hide his identity) that he put his rare Dumbo collection on Ebay, which lead to Shawn exposing Scott as stil being alive. Shawn got blamed for that whole thing. At first when Shawn was getting the blame more than he should I wondered what the objective was for the writers and it was interesting how it actually helped to keep the show more interesting..

She was always jealous of Shawn's relationships but never wanted him to interfere in hers. Lastly, when she found out he wasn't an actual psychic, she treated him like crap. He didn't lie to her. She was brought in as a replacement for Lassie's old partner. So the psychic ordeal had already transcribed. But please tell me how she's awesome. I'm curious

Jackie well for starters, she is sensitive and caring, always the one to calm Lassie down, and tell him to be sensitive. She also got a 98.4% on the detective exam, which put her higher than lassie. She is incredibly smart and well coordinated. And you’re totally overreacting with the whole jealousy thing, I mean she never made it obvious, and she never interfered with shawns relationships, she was mature about the Abigail thing. She was even able to get over her feelings for Shawn, and that’s why she went out with Declin, until she found out Shawn still had feelings for her after he broke up with Abigail, and she realized she still liked him. Also, she has helped bring in a number of criminals, including the arrest of her own brother. She is a badass fighter, don’t you remember Alice bundy and Allison Cowley. And what do you mean he didn’t lie to her. He literally told her she is a psychic the day they met. I know Shawn was in to deep and he really couldn’t turn back, but how would you feel if your loved one had been lying to you for 6 years. Also, lassie was in a romantic relationship with Detective Lucinda so obviously she had to be replaced, you can’t blame her for that. Juliet worked her way up from junior detective, to head detective of the San Francisco police department. I’m not judging your opinion, I’m just saying how stupid it is.
