Great video. I currently live in Edinburgh and just wanted to say that, as a Scottish person, I really appreciated the fact that you pronounced the word "Edinburgh" perfectly. I know words can be hard for other dialects but you smashed it. Thank you. I am glad that you enjoyed your trip.

Hi - just for the record, there is a large pod of dolphins which makes its home just outside Aberdeen harbour. However, looking at the ones you saw and the way they moved, they might well have been porpoises - it's that wheeling motion. Great video btw, and am just about to catch up on episodes - 4. What you thought were scarves in the Japanese costume exhibition were obi. The obi is the long piece of fabric, often silk and often also embroidered, that is wound round the waist to keep the kimono in place. There are various kinds of highly decorative knots made with the obi at the back.

They come out when it rains we were told. Unfortunately I didn’t get to buy any wool as my back was really bad and I just couldn’t do the walking, but I would love to go back one day. Fellow passengers had bought up big and we had a show and tell back on board. We get the series ‘ Shetland’ here in Australia, great show, good armchair travel too. Look forward to more of your tour and your lovely knitting, have subscribed 🥰
