He's a character; he's the hardest runner I've ever seen in the NFL -- and I've seen them all; but contrary to those who wanna slap the "thug" label on him, he's got more CHARACTER than all his detractors put together. What he's done for his community is to be lauded because he is sincere when he says he loves Oakland and loves his community and he's laid down boatloads of money to make his community a better place. And he's brave enough to call out the media and make them look like straight-up fools. Lotsa players TALK a good game; Beast Mode is "all about that action, boss."

One of the most violent runners I have ever seen play the game. Both arms and both legs are moving frenetically to break a tackle. Trying to tackle him high is virtually impossible, even by more than 2 defenders. He is very jukey for a big guy. In Oakland this year, we know he's not at his prime and we do have two other backs who will get a lot of time. We expect Lynch to be a short-yardage guy and someone who can eat up clock near the end of games. What a player.

You see how he became the leader of the Seahawks? He had the defensive players feeding off him and he was the running back. No surprise that guys like Sherman are now becoming restless now that he's no longer around. Pete Carroll angered the Gods of football when he elected to throw on that last play.
@dredokkk7 жыл бұрын
I noticed that too, Pete Carroll lost the team ever since he didn't run ball in that Super Bowl. That is why the whole Seahawks defense was trying to fight the Patriots because they were so frustrated with that play call. The Seahawks had such a crazy journey just to get to the Super Bowl with that comeback against the Packers in the championship game. After that whole emotional roller coaster just to get there and to be on 1 yard line and not use your power back...the Seahawks may never recover from that lost.

Pats fan here. Lynch in my book is the GOAT of all backs. I don’t say that lightly. My dad has been a lifelong Rams fan, I’ve met both ED and MF. I had a 10 minute conversation with Dickerson, and half the time I was amazed at his stories, and amazed how much he opened my eyes to Lynch. I walked out for a smoke when Seattle had 2nd down and a half yard. Literally walked out the door and was like “Lynch is back there, it’s over.” The shock on the faces my father and myself when we heard my mom scream “Interception!” from inside, was incredible. Not from “holy crap the Patriots won!”, but from the shear fact that the Seahawks threw the ball with a timeout, 30 seconds to go, and had A LEGENDARY, UNSTOPPABLE BACK LINED UP!!! Malcolm made a great damn play, And I love Pete Carrol as a coach, but that man, along with Richard Sherman, knew that it was the wrong call as they watched it unfold. Heat of the moment I guess.
