Yeah I read about the stacked cemeteries when I was researching about public parks for a project in horticulture college. One of the reasons we have public parks is because cemeteries were dangerously full and would spill out in a rainstorm. Anyway, then they made fancy cemeteries with paths and gardens people started hanging out at them for fun. There was a whole movement to beautify cities with parks and gardens before the world wars. Interesting topic, wish I remembered more specifics lol

Hold on! What's a polygamist farm? Is it a farm that has poly people, or are they farming polygamists?
@KoreleyАй бұрын
It's poly people kissing you all over until you also become poly yourself.

I would very much like to draw your attention to the stark differences between polyamory and polygamy, as they're not interchangeable. Polyamory is an umbrella term for no monogamous relationship setups in which everyone involved is informed and consenting and has autonomy over their own relationships, and can be any combination of genders. The partners also always have the option or renegotiate the relationship dynamic or leave if they are unhappy. Polygamy is a patriarchal setup in which one man has multiple wives who are not allowed to have relationships with any other men (nor women unless its something sexual the man approves of for his own "entertainment" 🤮.) It is inherently inequitable with a clear power imbalance. Polyamory can be healthy or unhealthy depending on the people in it (just as monogamy can be healthy or unhealthy depending on the people.) Polygamy, on the other hand, is inherently inequitable and oppressive to women. For example: Although all parties could voluntarily and genuinely desire and consent to a relationship where one man has multiple female partners, this would be considered polyamory if the women involved have autonomy to have their own other relationships and have equal power in the relationship. Those things would then makes that relationship no longer qualify as polygamy, does that make sense? The difference is, in polyamory all parties have the same autonomy and power/ability to change the setup to suit their and their partners needs. In polygamy, there is only choice/power with one party.

I have an aunt who was mayor for a time of the one-pony town she lived in (one pony because it was too small for one whole, regular horse). She's an asshole, assuming she's even still alive. I don't know. Anyway, this town in Iowa is so small it's literally just got one road that's a circle right off the highway. This aunt lives in a mobile home, but like a fancy mobile home. (The cream of the trailer trash.) I've for sure been in smaller towns than hers, but her town was for sure on the top ten list of smallest towns in Iowa at least, if not the whole midwest. But stil... she, another aunt, and my grandma lived there and were probably at least 1/20th of the whole town's population collectively.

Im curious if she meant night terrors or nightmares. This sounds like nightmares. Night terrors are typically in children and are caused by small airways and enlarged tonsils/adenoids which causes breathing problems and affects the neurological aspects of sleep

standup comedy in its modern form was originally broadly popularized IN AMERICA in the mid 1900s after tvs became cheap and widespread, and crowdwork has long been a central part of the artform, ever since hecklers have existed... wtf are you talking about 😂 thats like saying "red sauce?? how disgustingly italian - spaghetti ain't what it used to be! how can people stand to stomach this slop??"
