I got massively outraded in A phase and got slowly rolled over during the rest of the game because of it. I expected an important fight in the valley on the hill but koenig avoided that which lead to a lot of my units not performing as I expected. GG to Koenig

Thanks Mimile For me contest the opponent center hill is the way to win the game on shchedrin. The city can be determining only if you have your center hill not contested. GG to you ! Was a fun game

I think Koenig was afraid that a good but lonely AA could be destroyed from the air, 1 plane would distract attention, and the Il2 would shoot it down. That's why he picked up a lot of cheap and ineffective stuff.

Exactly thank you Avalser ! And also it s difficult to pull out expensive AA. And on this game i didn’t need to kill planes but just make them back to airport.

It certainly feels like OB-25' HEAT shells laser guided or something. The gun only has 5 shells in total but I swear whenever I come up against it or use it myself it lands 3 or 4 of those shells every single time.

It's because of the ROF... statistically it should land 1 every 3 rounds, so if it spews like 300 shells per minute the chance of hitting increases.

I liked the commentary on the early game strategy on how they're positioning units like AT guns, unloading inf early, or where theyre putting AT inf. I'm learning the game so I default to balanced income in the 3v3 or larger games I play with my friends, so learning about why the other ones are good is helpful. I've been watching your casts and enjoy them a lot, could you add more commentary about positioning or why they're pushing an area from the angle that they're coming from?

against the IS2 1944 the cahnce to win at +800m is almost 0%, even 2v1 the chance is like 10%, they can't really pen it

23:20 okay, that's just ridiculous. I don't care that it was IL-2, any plane that flies right at three 20 mm and get fired by them almost for half a minute should NOT survive. Several bursts from the same 20 mm guns on Fw (or any other fighter) easily take heavy bombers out, but when they are on the ground they suddenly start to shoot wet paper. Ridiculous and outrageous.

Cheap 20mm are good enough if vetted. Quantity is a quality all its own. Also easier to spread around the map for good coverage. No matter which way the planes turn, theres always a 20mm shooting at them.

I always play with unit "icons" exactly where they are, and not lined up like you normally do :) I can't stand not having accurate info on where my units precisely are, or having their HP not visible
