We continue with League and dive into div 1 games with game 1 of two between Onord and Mimile on Slutsk west with 29th Tank vs Panzer Lehr.

Great game and cast! Very nice analysis too, Mimile had some bad luck, but Onord had the bad side yet managed capitalize on the early trades. Just a few more minutes and this game may have swung around in Mimiles favour.

That t34-85 at max range and on the move getting a pen with its first shot 😭And then my pack dies to T34-85 without hitting anything. My nebel also didn't want to hit the IS2 during half of the game. I feel like luck wasn't on my side this game. I lost way too many AA stupidely. That cost me the game.

Yes, but you also had the better side of this map, your pak 40s penned twice out of 4 shots on max APCR range against an IS2 etc., the RNG wasn’t quite that bad

@ Yeah I got the better side. APCR penning twice out of 4 isn't unlikely. And bad luck early on is a lot more important than bad luck later on.

@CommanderOwlFtunk the IS-2s make it OK, but that's all it has in its favour. No other strong 2km HE or AT (although a lack of heavy AT guns is almost universal in Soviet divisions).

Good game and good cast, I'm surprised Onord takes no 50 cal halftracks, perhaps afraid of the Schrecks and armoured cars. But they seem like the only redeeming quality of the infantry tab

My guess would be that he wanted some cheaper tanks available like the T-34 76 and the M10. I agree 19th would have been a strong pick here.

Lehr not the best option here probably... Too slow. I'd go for 21, it's very nice on Slutsk maps with fast flak and 233 deployment you can overrun 57mm very easily

May have been banned. Slutsk west is one of the only maps where big boy divs get pretty consistently banned.

@jaapaasa do you have enough bans tho? You need to 100% ban 4th fj, 715, 84th, 97, 16 panzer, 43 reserve, SSB, 4 armored, 3 armored from the top of my head

I won’t tell you the exact bans it s up to Mimile. But be sure that 3us and SSB weren’t banned and it is normal. They aren’t good on Slutsk west. Particularly SSB that would be schreded by a div that has 2k He and 2k he as well as a bit of anti-air.
