Great, a set of headphones bigger than the console. Very practical when you're travelling or going on holiday.
@sagichdirdochnicht46533 жыл бұрын
Well, I prefer Overears and basically wear mine almost all day. On vacations as well. Yes, I'm that weird dude running around with those big headphones. So comfortable. And when I don't use them, they fit comfortably around my neck. Tough I don't like the product anyway. A Bluetooth Dongle is the better approach, since you are able to use it on pretty much anything, and are able to use other Headphones like In ears, if one prefers those. But the fact that we need those Dongles to use wireless Headphones on the Switch still blows my Mind. Like common. Any fucking device supports those nowadays, except for the switch. Also, the Switch has fucking Bluetooth, that's what the damn controllers use. Wich also pisses me off, they could have easily enabled the option, but didn't. And they could have easily enable it via an Update. Wich didn't, and since it's 3 years out, they propably won't. Pisses me off quite a bit.

I personally use the Satisfye grip at home when playing on the couch or whereever, but when I'm out all day or for days at times, I prefer the Skull & Co grip. Maybe it's just me, but I think it's nice with the extra protection when I'm out.

I did a shell replacement for my Joycons and Pro controller. I used shells from ExtremeRate. They are very good quaIity shells, if you ask me. The only downside is, in case of the JoyCons, is that the shell is a little bit thicker. This results that the buttons are slightly more sunken into the case as the default case. This is not a problem for me, but might be for you.

Pros to the wireless PowerA controller: Macro Buttons (Big Plus) Cheaper Uses Batteries (No need for an outlet in emergencies + just use rechargeable batteries)(Also has a long battery life)(Not to mention, warning light when low) Significantly Lighter (Not a con) Easier access to Sync Button Cons No NFC (just use a Joycon) No Vibration (only matters in Odyssey)
@Ch4oTiK4 жыл бұрын
I like the YOK ERGO Grip personally. It's sort of like a combination of the Satisfye and Skull&Co. (better support for the weight vs the Satisfye, similar grip shape to the Skull&Co.) with game slots in the back for storage, and can be plugged into the charger and so on. Kind of cheapy plastic (potentially slippery) but for comfort and usability, it's basically perfect. Can easily remove joy cons while the switch is still snapped into the grip as well, and can use/access all ports (including the kickstand + SD port) with it attached. Basically no reason to ever take it off, though I'm not sure if it fits in the dock with the grip on or not since I haven't really used my switch in dock mode, but you'd probably have to take it off for that due to girth. Only issue I have (and it's kind of a small one) is that it's a lil' tough to snap in and remove the switch from the grip due to the top and bottom support it provides, so a small caveat to an otherwise pro for the design. Kind of feels...jarring I suppose when you snap it into place and a lil effort to take off without feeling a tad rough, but maybe it's just because I treat my Switch like a baby (lil' overprotective basically).

The best third party controller is the Surge Switchpad. It has gyro, rumble, its wireless with a good battery, its got assignable back buttons and turbo. And its $30 Canadian. I know this is a video about Nintendo Switch accessories, but it was worth mentioning that the 8BitDo Controller supports Windows 10, Android, Mac and Raspberry as well... so it is so much more versatile for multi platform use. I have both, the Pro stays at home with the switch, but the 8BitDo travels with me since it is perfect with my Surface Book and my Android phone for gaming on the go (the switch is mostly used by my son on the go). Also the replaceable battery on the 8BitDo makes it a better long term investment since you can use AA batteries once the rechargeable one dies...
