Not really, this is all marketing bullshit. And bloodborne will still run at 30 fps on the ps5 pro because the game is locked at 30fps. Im guessing Sony wont let from software touch it without some caveat that keeps it from happening, or we get it with the PS6. If i were to spend what iw as going to on a ps5 pro, the disc drive, and a 2tb ssd i might as well just buy and build a pc at that point. The PS5 is still a really solid oprion as far as price to performance goes. We allllll have a lot of disdain with Sony for doing what they are with the PS5 pro.

But you're not getting anywhere near the experience of a PS5, Xbox Series S or X or PS5 Pro with the same money invested into building a PC. I've been building PC's since 2005. My current PC was over $3000 and still struggles with 4K gaming. This PS5 Pro is going to be leagues better than a $700 "gaming" PC. You'd have to buy second hand to even get remotely close. Yeah, I've seen the "building a pc for PS5 money" type videos. Good luck with that... Not a fan of any console or company at all. And yeah, the marketing is marketing. But there's nothing wrong with what Sony is doing. They're a company that makes products. Don't like em? Don't buy em. Pretty simple. They can make a PS5 pro pro pro pro for all I care. I just find it hilarious how fanboyish people are over these consoles. And then how suddenly butthurt they are because they can't afford the upgraded better version that costs more. As if they're entitled to the latest greatest technology at an affordable poor person price. That's just not how the world works. And if a $200 price difference is that outrageous and unaffordable to you or anyone else, maybe they should not be looking to buy a video game console and instead invest their time and resources into an education. $200 (or $250 now that PS5 digital is on sale) is like pennies to most people outside the entitled gamer community.
