This is what I love about Superstore. I just love how a simple subject will suddenly snowball into a larger discussion, to the point there's no stopping it from becoming an avalanche of chaos. I mean, Jonah's simple lunch break talk becoming Glenn repeatedly yelling *_"ABORTION ABORTION ABORTION"_* was nothing short of brilliant. Kudos to the writers of this underrated show.

Being in payroll, Marcus should not have to pay back the overpayments. It was the "company" who made the mistake and they didn't fix it in a reasonable amount of time. The most they could get back is the most recent direct deposit if the store actually pays its paychecks via direct deposit, but I'm doubting that.

My first instinct was to say, you must be fun at parties... My second instinct - because I also do payroll - is that it varies by state so let's not make overarching comments. @@Francis... It wasn’t his contract, when Glenn put in the payment on the computer for the pay, he missed the decimal point. also depending on the state’s laws, Marcus could be at fault for not disclosing the discrepancy or mistake which could be counted as fraud since he’s taking more money than he’s supposed to from the company.
