My dad was 16 when he first heard a pulse jet engine. It was fitted to a German doodlebug, which landed and exploded not far from him; whilst he was cleaning the windows of the house he was living in. The blast shattered the window he was cleaning; and cut his thumb. He claimed it as his war wound; since it was caused by enemy action. He later joined the Tank Regiment; and survived the war. He died aged 92. He would have loved to see a peaceful use for a pulse jet engine such as this!

Man I remember way back when this guy was making pulse jet motors on his website in the early 2000's, some of his work was discussed on a potato gun forum (Spudfiles if anyone is interested, it's a wealth of knowledge for anything operated by pneumatic or combustion pressure) I used to moderate, it's pretty cool being able to see this 20-some years later and realize he's the badass dude we all thought he was back then😂, he was kind of a legend in our community lol.
