Foliage sticking out into the carriageway is no joke to cyclists and motorcyclists. Cyclist on some stretches of road are having to ride much further out into the carriageway because of the lack of maintenance by local authorities and private landowners. There are stretches of the A57 where the pavement cannot be used by pedestrians who have to walk in the road. It's getting worse each year.

That driver just forfeited his licence by overtaking through a pedestrian crossing , which is an instant disqualification . His number and face are both clearly shown in the video , so a slam dunk case .

#10 the van driver did the correct thing according the new highway code rules (we all read the latest highway code dont we.) in giving priority to someone wanting to cross at a junction. It is for all drivers to be prepared for this to happen. But the clip proves how dangerous the new rule can be.

#46 is an interesting one. There are no arrows on the floor meaning that the left lane is the general left and straight on and the right lane is for right turns only, so the cam driver is well and truly in the wrong for that one.

Absolutely. The roundabout is definitely marked out as two lanes all round and as you say, there is nothing to say that the vehicle in the left lane coming off Nash Lee Road must take the first exit. If anything, it is the vehicle in the inside lane which cuts across the outside lane to make the second exit.

52:18 - The thing is about "footpath closed" operations is that they are supposed to provide a safe alternative that allows access to nearby buildings and adjoining pavements, it does not mean a pedestrian cannot go around it.

Exactly at 7:04 I would have pulled left continued cycling and gestured for the car to pass where it's straight, I cycle on roads like this all the time, you either let the cars pass close if you're comfortable with it or stop in a driveway or field entrance for 5 seconds, her car wasn't even that big, he was just looking for footage instead of making it a non event.

Apart from the "gent" actually being a woman you are absolutely right, all the clues were there, empty roundabout plus stopped traffic on inside lane equals someone with priority is crossing, slow down just in case, not carry on a speed and race to get to the roundabout while it's still clear then yell at others for not noticing the obvious.

#27 is worse than the lorry who beeped him. Another case of a driver so self righteous they feel that stopping and obstructing a road to prove their point over a minor inconvenience is their right. That and the readjusting the camera by hand constantly in a moving vehicle, great evidence to share of how well you were controlling your vehicle 😂

Indeed. The incident took place on the A460 at Shareshill and it's slightly unusual in that the left lane merges into the right, where it's usually the other way around. Although the driver was 'in the right' and the truck shouldn't have bleeped, I don't think the camera driver should have got so worked up about it.

17:42 The Bernoulli Effect. When one slab sided vehicle goes past another slab sided vehicle the bigger vehicle will have less effect from the air being squeezed between the two.... but when the lighter vehicle (the caravan in this case) moves out of the squeezed air zone it will instantly become unstable. It was a miracle the driver managed to straighten up that caravan. The only way to effectively do it every time is to have a big red button on the dash that the driver slams down... which instantly activates ONLY the caravan brakes... this makes it "anchor" the tow vehicle pulling it straight. Any braking by the tow vehicle will inevitably cause a crash.... John Cadogan has done a couple of vids explaining this from a scientific viewpoint...

You can also recover by accelerating steadily. It's sketchy no matter how you do it, but man that driver did really well keeping it on the road. Sort of makes you wonder why mandatory trailer (only) brakes aren't a thing.

As a side note too all users of the road, if you have Dashcam footage and witness poor driving then you can report this using the Dashcam reporting system. I do this now weekly from road signs ignored. Careless driving and mobile phone use. The police take this seriously and where proportionate and required will issue either a FPN or driver improvement course. The Red mini driver clearly should have been more patient as she couldn’t give 5’ of clearance and I praise the cyclist for actually attempting too pull over but cyclists riding in groups in a similar situation do nothing of the sort.

I was on a motorbike in a 60MPH zone & a moron lady driver came out of a t junction & then screamed at me for almost hitting her. Police were behind me & they pointed out SHE was in the wrong. She did not have a licence

49:36 Actually the driver recording was in the wrong. The driver recording cut across in front of the driver in the left lane to reach the exit on the left, he should have been in the left lane if he wanted to exit to the left. The arrows on approach clearly show that the lane the driver who was recording was in was forward and right! Correct me if i'm wrong.

The arrows seem confusing but I think the straight on is essentially what looks like the first left turn. The dashcammer should have checked his mirrors before turning left, but the other vehicle was not allowed to keep going round, he should've been in the dashcammers lane if he wanted to do that.

The Highway Code states that at roundabouts and crossings, road traffic MUST give way to pedestrians seeking to cross the road at that point. The van driver was not in the wrong, and neither was the mobility scooter. Who does that leave?

#25 That camera flash was for someone on the other side, not the transit. The transit hadn't even reached the marker lines. Overhead M25 cameras are not active when there's no speed limit displayed anyway. The HADECS are possibly always on though.

#57 Ah yes, the Griff between Coventry and Nuneaton. If you haven't been exposed to it, it can be overwhelming but in this case, people just need to follow the white lines. Better to take what you think is a wrong turn than to cause an incident.
