NLS Pro is the best Meepo board yet, and is targeted at the mid-tier market - hard to call it premium, but it is certainly far from being budget. It is the first Meepo with the way more reliable Hobbywing ESC - which is the board controlling the brushless motor.
Here’s the rest of the hardware-related impressions: Great box, really great, well packed, and it is a pleasure to take it out. Immediately you say wow - looking at the great three layers of bamboo and two layers of fiberglass. Materials that give you awesome flexibility and are almost impossible to break. On top of it is the griptape - which is also shock absorbing. You can equip the board with the designed by Meepo bushings - 83A, 90A and 96A -a and the three sets arrive with each Meepo board. Wheels have the size of 100mm - from all Chinese boards - the riding comfort with this one surpasses everything else by far!
On the bottom you can see the enclosures. Besides the board - there are some accessories included - the charger, reflective stickers, the remote, all packed into a nice carrying box.
The board is powered by Samsung cells - and with a single charge you can enjoy a range of up to 20 miles. For a heavier guy - - make it 16-17. 30% inclines - essentially nothing can stop you! Speed is up to 32mph, which I think is totally crazy. Helmet, any other kind of protective accessories - and you still may feel a little nervous at top speed.
You can control the speed and acceleration from the remote - which has to be with you all the time. And that also is your brake. Three speed modes - “beginner”, “eco” and “expert“.
Riding experience is not simply above average, it is great! I won’t make any parallels to Boosted’s models - cause it won’t be too fair - but yeah - the board feels and performs in a very awesome way; Excellent battery, powerful motors, great ESC, fantastic responsiveness. It is not a push to start scooter - another advantage. If you shut the power off - it goes into like a blocking mode - good idea, especially in case of accident the board to not go too far away and harm something or someone.
The remote can easily switch directions - through a press of a button, and of course you cannot do that in motion.
At the moment of making the video - it is among the best mid-tier boards, it is totally the best Chinese board made ever, and it can most certainly compete some more expensive ones.

Heey Tom - it's been a busy week, as I wanted to schedule a few things before going out for vacation for a few days. All good here, a little sad that summer is almost over. Is that where you live? I actually never knew that boards are that popular in Canada, but that explains well why so many canadian youtubers are using boards a lot. I still struggle with the balance and it is rather funny to watch me on one of these 🙃👍

Meepo NLS Pro, doesn’t have the Hobbywing ESC anymore. They changed it, so it now have the same LingYi 3,0 ESC as in the Meepo V3 board. I myself have a Meepo V3, but It’s upgraded with the 100 mm wheel upgrade kit so it now have the same wheels as on the NLS Pro instead of the 90 mm wheels it came with. Later I also plan to change the V3 maple deck, to the NLS Pro more flexible Bamboo deck. Battery is the standard R20 pack, but I got two of them and two battery enclosure and two charges so I can charge two batteries simultaneously. Numptee AWD Pro is a lot heavier and doesn’t have as much flex, so not as comfortable. NLS Pro is a better all rounder imo

@@haikalwaddup2498 Yeah, that was pretty bad :( It is quite nice the way he handled it - so positively and in a funny way. But it was definitely a very very serious injury. I am not afraid of falling down, but somehow boards are not my thing.

Did they changed/downgrade the NLS Pro? A month ago it Stated that its Top Speed was 32 Mph on their Website but now it states Top speed 28 Mph.

Looks like they did... The ESCs are also no longer the ones I speak about in the video - so it does look like there has been a silent downgrade.

They added the ESC from the Meepo V3. Which has more responsive brakes and push to start. Seems like a fair trade off to me. 👍
