Notes from the composer: "This has become the unofficial second theme to World of Goo, after we used it in our second trailer. I originally wrote this for an animated short film I made with some friends. I recorded a bunch of performers all huddled around a single microphone in my bedroom to get the layers used in this track. Drums were made by banging on chairs and cardboard boxes."

Just like the end of the game, this song represents hope. Even when it seemed like it was completely over, the telescope rose to see the world. The beginning of this track is dark and depressing, and then we hear those pounding drums as we break through the smog. To me, this game represents hope and fighting back. A true masterpiece that doesn’t get enough recognition.

It truly saddens me how this amazing soundtrack doesn't get the recognition it totally deserves. Every single song in this soundtrack is filled with such intense unexpected emotion. That be one of pure extacy, fear, adventure... And sadness. And all from a very well designed and fun game called World of Goo? One of my favorite tracks in this game is called Jelly and it provoques such emotions everytime when I listen to it, then there's the red carpet which drowns my mind in pure imagination on what could be going on. This soundtrack is amazing and I will love it forever. This one especially... Combined with the title. God, there's so much emotion in this. One that always brings me to tears is "Are You Coming Home, Love MOM" because you don't expect to care for a computer in a game like this, but then you do, and you feeel the pain when you have to say goodbye to her, because she's just not there anymore afterwards... God. What a soundtrack, what a game.

This song sounds like a credits sequence that plays whenever you are seeing a place for the last time, like leaving a school, and the memories fade in and put similar to the credits in this game. I will never forget when my girlfriend told me she was leaving. It was over 2 months ago, and I have not seen her since. Somehow, we both grew up playing this game. Whenever I hear this song now I just see all the great times we spent together. It's sad, but I wouldn't have it any other way.

this is a special type of game, one with a capacity to make me feel there there exists more within them. i feel like theres some hidden cache of levels somewhere that i just haven’t found, some secret that collects digital dust, just waiting for someone to find it. its weird for it to dig so deep into my head, i could swear that it exists somehow. i cant properly describe the feeling but this music makes me feel it in droves. i hope that one day i can make something that captures people the way that this captures me.
