I have a crazy story. My step dad got 16 DUIs before the barred him for life....in New York state. Doesn't make sense. He's old as fuck and a veteran so they take mercy on him and give him a choice, never allowed to drink again and has to go to in patient substance abuse class, or prison for the rest of his life. Obviously he chose in patient. He gets there the first day and he's talking to the counselor for about half an hour. She eventually snaps and say, do you know who I am. And he says no. And she blows up and says IM YOUR FUCKING DAUGHTER. She stopped talking to him decades earlier due to behavior above. I know this is the internet but I swear on my life this is 100% a true story.
