Note: sweetgrass also grows in Europe (northern Eurasia). I would recommend doing research and coming to your own conclusions. I get a lot of my smoke cleansing items from small businesses so I know it was sourced ethically compared to major companies (no shame to those who can only get smoke cleansing stuff from huge companies). I’m not indigenous so I can’t speak on their culture but from what I looked up is to use it respectfully (not calling it smudging when using it) and to know what culture(s) it comes from. Also, it works as a mosquito repellent which is nice since store bought mosquito repellent smells gross.
