Feel like this would slap so hard on a magden with a icestaff imagine like asylum ice staff with artic blast + extra chill dmg and blade cloak procing every 2 seconds same time as artic blast your chill dmg would annihilate ppl plus you could have the extra bleed dot from the class

Blade cloak doing that interaction with enchants may be unintended. The rending slashes dot used to proc enchants for 2 weeks and zos changed it mid patch, since its not a ground dot.

It is deliberate, all weapon skill lines have it It’s not a ground dot, it’s the aoe dot in the weapon skill lines that proc enchants That’s why running stampede and blockade with staves and 2h is always necessary when parsing because it procs even on the front bar

Can confirm that this is 100% intended. It is actually an interaction mainly designed for PvE. Every offensive weapon Skillline has one abillity that can proc weapon enchants. Two Handed: Critical Charge (Stampede morph only) Dual Wield: Blade Cloak (Both morphs) Bow: Volley (Both morphs) Destruction Staff: Wall of Elements (Both morphs)

Just sort of a general question, as I know you really enjoy Necro like me. I find that at whatever "mmr" I am currently at, people are just generally completely invincible/take no damage and deal 4, 5, 6 times the amount of damage that I do fully decked out and with all burst up and it's completely unhealable burst damage that mathematically shouldn't even be possible. I can't even get 30k HP if I am going to be actually effective damage wise. I imagine Sorc/NB are simply just designed to function in the game, whereas Necro seems to do about 30-40% of the damage most of the time (there are some ways to maybe do about 50%). Was the idea to create a class that just generally did not function, or was the idea to just make a lot of people leave after it was made? For real though, these teams are fully immune to taking damage at this MMR and I have done everything I can with a variety of builds, races, spent probably 200mil gold or better. Is the answer to shelf the Necro since builds like the one above are designed to work?

There is nothing you can really do as a solo player as a necro in the stacks in BGs. I wish I had a better answer. The best you can do is just make a bombcro

I think you did misunderstand how the Maelstrom Inferno Set works. "Elemental Wall" deals 1250 extra damage per tick. And only Elemental Wall. Nothing else :)

Don't listen to that crackhead below the MA staff is good but remember you have to convince your prey to stand in red and in a trial thats usually easy but in cyrodiil people do the opposite vs Brp DW the dot follows you increases all damage done and damage taken so its def better then the Staff by alot

However that effect was changed in 2022 with Update 35 (Lost Depths) to account for players who are not particularly good at light attack weaving and since then simply increases the damage of your wall of elements ticks by 1250. This change made it better in AoE situations but slightly nerfed the single target damage output. Regardless of it's version the Maelstrom Staves have alsways been unattractive for PvP scenarios.

best tip if you dont have a eleite controller, swap right stick click with left on the D pad it makes bar swap so much easier and crouching is now left on the d pad way more intuitive

Y did u post this its got some smart stuff in it with bb but u don't need quick cloak u can just run rending bb embers or deep breath, then u can run MA dw ik it's an off meta build but to keep that nice Stam that's the best way, also y tf do u have burning embers I hope people learn to use FOB it's so good, it's a bad build and double dots cool but escapist poisons and other shi is way better, there's just so much bad with this video I'm sorry
