I bought another Traxxas RC today myself. I’ve been looking at the Raptor R all month because that sale was pretty good for $399 and today. I noticed it went back up to $499 but one store had it left and they only had one so I jumped on it. I have so many RC’s. I have not used yet so I’m trying to be more sensible with it lol but I had to get it make that number 112 since June 15 yes I’m keeping track lol and yes, I have some shorts up of most of them except the ones maybe from the last week or so

Awesome. I love my XRT but I don’t drive it anywhere near this extreme. 😂 I’m always afraid I’ll break something. So for me it’s usually just blasting through the yard. These are a lot of fun. But you need lots of room to enjoy them.

You will break something trust me.I have the XRT Ultimate it was 1500. List of things that I've broke in a couple months not even jumping it that high. Center drive shaft broke in half. Servo broke. Both front and rear bulkheads broke front and rear diff gears. Center diff gears. 2cv axle bent.

If u want a tough Rc out the box. It's the DBXL.e 2.0. only have broke a CV axle. And a plastic link.

​@juniorbeginnerbeginner1790 Xrt Ultimate is a great rig... Got one myself, but I wouldn't use it for hardcore bashing. Standard Xrt and Xmaxx do just fine!

⁠ultimate is a huge rip off and more aluminum adds more weight that’s why u would break more parts then on a standard Xrt. I’ve been running mine hard as hell yet to break anything

@@Improvise_Adapt_0vercome I agree. Regardless of what junior thinks, I doubt mine will break. I’ve had my regular version XRT since September of 2023 and haven’t broken anything. I do not bash mine hard at all. In the nearly 40 years I’ve been in the hobby on and off, I’ve rarely ever broken any of my RC cars. I just blast them around and drive them normally. However I do rather enjoy seeing what they can do under harsh bashing sessions like what thunder puts them through. 😂🍻

Diff cases are a must for those 1/5 scales. I wish it would come with a 1100 KV, just a bit more punch. Excellent bump flips as always

I wish Traxxas made a truck with the electronics and powertrain layout of a Sledge but with the plastic chassis and shock tower/bulkheads of the Maxx series.

Well the Maxx Slash has the Sledge electronics but not the drivetrain layout. That said I love my Maxx Slash way more than my Sledge. Have a great day.

@@thunderrc Though rare, i expect some sales later from Traxxas Would like to know how much product they moved during the sale. I did grab a UDR. I Think its their best scale build its just not a basher its a great representation of a desert racer / short course.

@myharryface Yes, I've noticed Horizon has been making them normal price. I just got email stating the mini B and T will be 119 for brushed and 199 for brushless at normal sale price. Asdociated apex2 cars need to come down since they are bushings and fake shocks. I could make do with bushings but not the Chinese style shocks need to go. Even Chinese are offering oil shocks on many of thier cars. Makes them pretty expensive once you bring it up to other brand car specs. And add rally kits like i want. HPI 1/8 rally is 250 for maverick line that is also brushless. Maybe comparing apples to oranges but its not a bad car.
