HMack's timing on a beat is near perfect. I believe that's what gives him the ability to play with cadences and flows with inflection like that and still be able to improvise at the same time. Being a drummer, he has such a unique understanding of rhythm and percussion that he can seamlessly weave in and out of the percussion on a beat with his own syllables.
