Best Opener! - SDPC Tutorial Tetris

This tutorial explains what SDPC (TSS, TSD, Perfect Clear) is, and how to build it, as well as all the PC solves associated with it. This also includes the necessary spins needed and other information to help you use this effectively. This also only has necessary information, meaning no irrelevant routes are listed (mech tsd).
This is NOT A DPC guide. That will be a separate video.

This was a super good guide. Normally I avoid learning these powerful complicated openers (partially because of my vendetta against them from Tetra League). But it was very engaging and easy to follow start to finish, actually gonna test it out

There is also a crazy sdpc-spin extention where you do a donation tsd and then an stsd, but its better suited for use if you didn't go for extended sdpc to form the tetris well

Learn another 8 line pc opener, there are many, personally I use mountainous stacking 2 as it has 100% bag cover but u could do anything. If you do pco, you have to learn 2nd pc which is a lot more effort to learn, but you would send more in the end, and it’s better for blitz, but pco is not great for blitz anyway

This may be a dumb question but when building the base what do you do if the T, S, and Z come before the O or if after the first pc you have a S, Z, or T in hold and 2 of those pieces come before the O?

This is not dumb, as it is one of the openers weakness You need to choose to do another opener, I use ms2 (see harddrop)

Download tetrio+ then enable custom maps Go to custom room in single player then go to last tab After that click edit map and there u can place the grey blocks wherever u feel like Then copy the text and paste it in custom map place and u can play that

What can I do when there's no possible solution? Ran into a situation where my bag was: I, Z, J, S, T, L, with O in hold. Am I missing something or does this just not work?

i found the solution to be o on left, skim with z, then j then i then clear with t and l. I'm pretty sure my video had skipped a couple of crucial solves which i missed. I recommend you go on other discord servers as there are plently of people who know sdpc better than me. There are also a lot of documents and guides that list more solves. If you mean the one where tss is on the left, then you use the funky solve with i flat on o, then hang the z, then spin the j in using 180 and skim with s and L

The only 180 spin uses are for getting a piece down faster and for a very rare pc case, so you should be fine

1:45 that situation is pretty common and annoying: its the one reason why sdpc can't be used for relatively high gravity blitz 5:39 actually TST TSD Tetris attack is 25 and not 24 that said, still a very good tutorial with clear effort put in

In normal circumstances, you should be using 7 bag so the patterns work normally. Unfortunately due to the nature of openers this is not true if the next queue is messed up or using something else

When the opponent clears a quad it sends 4 lines in a row all in the same place, but if they send doubles they send one line over and over, which will be randomly placed

Terrible finesse fault AS A TUTORIAL. The simplest operations are as follows: Bag 1 L: CCW SD CCW Bag 2 Z: CW SD CW Solve 2 with T: CCW SD CCW (if I first) Additionally, solve 6 and the operation shown in this video are inconsistent,although it makes a PC too.
