I just want to say this is by far the best series I've seen for improving in modern tetris. I'd be really happy with it. Especially considering how fast you pumped it out and how jam packed it is with very useful information for beginner to average players. Excellent job, Kez!

Thank you for making this series about how to improve in tetris. I also believed that just playing tetris wasn't the most efficient way to learn the game, but couldn't find any detailed guides out there until now. Keep up the great work!

What a way to end the series. Good stuff Kez, the determination required to upload daily is immense. It's hilarious that this all started out of spite and now youve not only proved them wrong but also grown an audience along with it.

What an end to this banger series!! This is honestly the only tetris guide/series that I found that truly encapsulates the progression of a new tetris player. Personally I found that no one has a streamlined guide that goes over all the techniques and mindset that a top player utilizes. It actually did help me improve, I hit SS in 3 months and was stuck for the another 3 months but finally hit U after watching your all your recent guides about funneling, ASMR, timing, and more. Thanks for putting the time into this series, Cheers!

Congrats on completing the guides and I believe it'll help a lot of players in the future. I think quite a few videos are missing from the complete guide playlist (pro cancelling, cycling bag, holding b2b and this conclusion to name a few I noticed) I haven't checked all the videos so I might've missed some but I'm sure a lot of future viewers will appreciate it if we include every guide in there. Thank you for making such an amazing series!

thanks for the guide! I must say I really respect how much work you've put into this (these are definitely the highest quality educational tetris videos I've seen-- I watch some of them many, many times despite already knowing the concept). I personally have tried making educational videos (more academic-oriented) and it would take ages, like weeks/months, to make a 10 minute video. And it's clear you're making many, many cuts in narration to stitch together. It's unbelievable. And again, all the tips you shared were great. best of luck with college and work and stuff

I can confirm that this Playlist has made me improve faster than just playing more. I started out playing Tetris only knowing 0-9 staking and being unaware of any other techniques and strategies thinking I could get really good if I just kept playing. That's how I played for a couple months when I first got into Tetris. Then about 2 months ago I started searching for Tetris tutorials because I was going to enter in my school's Tetris tournament. If I didn't learn what I managed to learn from this Playlist I wouldn't have gotten 2nd place in that tournament. I learned 6-3 stacking, finnese, simple T-spins and a bit of SPDC. The guy who got first knew lst and was doing about 2 pps while I could only do 1.5 at most. This Playlist has given me appropriate knowledge to improve and I'll continue re-watching it to learn the rest of your guides. Thank Kez for being able to give so many people this guide.

I'd like to just say that I think I spent the last year or two feeling pretty lost about how to improve and was sitting at B rank for many months just trying to pattern stack 6-3 sprint and not paying any attention to even learning t-spin vision much less what was went over in these videos, but in the last few weeks as I got to watching this series immensely helped more than "just playing more". The problem with me is that I started learning it from people who played nonmodern versions of tetris and tried to focus on old concepts, and sure I had to actually play to understand the new ones but as I saw heard about more concepts in a way that was understandable here, even short, Kez sounding bad and sick and trying to stay determined to upload, or even just watching the background gameplay, I've had an opportunity to basically not suck and become more efficient then "Slowly (quad) Tetris Tetris Tetris misdrop die" over and over and regained motivation overall. I hope that if maybe other people have this same experience I did (as I know my friends have) that making this series was worth it for that!

Using zone isn’t only about when you can do a lot of damage or just to survive, you also have to take into account your opponent’s board, their zone charge and the score. The garbage becomes cheesier and zones don’t last as long (and more) when someone hits 20k and 60k score so zones right before these barriers will be more effective. You often also want to upstack right before starting a zone and have a T spin or 2 ready. You also want to take into account how long the zone will take. Also this series is such an amazing resource, thank you so much for making this. Here is a cookie to feed your ego 🍪

Hello Kez just want to say thanks a lot for these guides, they were actually what gave me the push to stop spamming solo modes on jstris and try playing pvp on tetrio. I'm a S- rank now and I can feel myself improving really quickly thanks to the "play for improvement and not rank" mindset you preach Your guides are really informative, the only other tetris youtuber I can think of with guides of similar quality is maybe orz. It's really crazy how you managed to pump these out daily at such high quality for free over such a long period of time. I fully agree with your stance that "play more isn't enough to improve", grinding games without knowing where or how to improve is completely useless, and your videos have helped so much with giving me that direction to make the most out of my games, and I'm sure they've helped many others too. (enjoy the ego fuel :D) Congrats on making it to the end of the series, take a well-deserved break king 👑
