Wow! The musical arrangements for all of these Academy Award Nominated Films were absolutely phenomenal! The version of 'Brokeback Mountain' was very powerful and epic as well! Itzhak Perlman is an extraordinary musical violinist and a musical genius! Very well done!!!

All the nominated scores were amazing and deserving but there is something in Brokeback Mountain’s score that just fills your heart and gets those tears rolling..Oscar win well deserved.

Memoirs of a Geisha was robbed. All of them were well deserved nominees though. Fantastic soundtracks, each and eveyr one of them. For once, the Academy got the nominees right but I can't agree with the winner. Perlman is fantastic.

John Williams and Geisha deserved the oscar even though Brokebacks score was alright it was not as great as Geisha´s.

I somehow feel that the best scores that year were 'Munich' and 'Geisha', though the others were quite good.

The best score of 2005 was King Kong, but not even was nominated. Even Narnia had better score than many of that films, but neither was nominated. Sometimes the academy has ridiculous decisions.
