I’ve lived here all my life and didn’t know of some of those spots. Then again I’m an old fart now so don’t get out as often :-). But the food scene has changed so much in Ottawa over the past decade it amazes me. Great news for the younger crowd. And your videography is wonderful.

This is great, thanks. As a local, I’ve only been to one of these places. Looking forward to trying the others. Just an FYI though, Beavertails didn’t start in Ottawa. The original location is still open in Killaloe, about two hours west of Ottawa.

Thank you Matt I hope you enjoy these new places to try! I didn’t know about Killaloe thanks for the info, clearly I shouldn’t trust everything I read on the internet 😂 the Byward location must be the first one in Ottawa then but not in Ontario!

@@MlleWanderlust I only know this because, if ever you find yourself on the backroads that drive by Killaloe, it says “Home of the Beavertail.” Which makes me think there isn’t a lot else going on in Killaloe.
