Hi abi, there is a product from prym called a mending needle, it is the same size as a seam ripper but it is a small latched hook. Very helpful to bury overlocked thread tails. There is a tutorial on youtube. You must introduce your cute tabby. Take care.

Beginner here would this be the best overlocker if you are dealing with thin fabrics

It’s a really good overlocker for the price bracket. I’d say it’s okay for thin fabrics but I do prefer the Janome but that’s so much more ££

Is it possible for a company to make a domestic sewing machine that has speed. No bells and whistles required just straight stitches in different lengths and has no difficulty sewing light weight to heavy weight fabrics...... and doesn't cost so much. Domestic sewing machines are too slow and industrial machines are bulky. Abi is an engineer!.
