Yes to the pepper on eggs. No, to ketchup on eggs, but YES to hot sauce on eggs. I have those salt and pepper shakers with a lid and a notch to open them. Up here in northern Michigan, older homes, such as ours, don't have air conditioning because we really only have a handful of days per year where we would need it. So, we live with natural humidity in our houses. That means our salt clumps up in the salt shakers, even with rice in the shaker. That little spring-loaded lid on the salt shaker protects the salt from becoming a big wet block in the shakers. Works like a charm. I get them from Amazon. Thank you for sharing with us! 💜

We make a point to visit Flapjack's every time we're in the Smokies. We like the one at the Parkway, right before entering the park on the way to Pigeon Forge. My go-to meal is the Sticky Bun pancakes. There is nothing like those anywhere else in the world!!

In Canada, the word we use is pancake; and as for ketchup, all through my childhood we used Heinz. There may be French's, but I've never had it. Those pancakes looked delish...there aren't many pancake houses in Ottawa, so all three of the pancakes you bought were new to me. I will remember that when and if I ever travel....I will have pancakes for sure!

Oh my goodness the food looked amazing delicious that I would order a few different kinds of breakfast choices to share family style. We could have a taste of a little bit of our liking. I live in Western Pennsylvania and we say, pancakes. It was always Heinz being close to Pittsburgh however Red Gold is now the best as is Red Gold other tomato products. I also converted to Dukes Mayo but it’s not available in all stores in my area. I think Brooks down deep has a comedian side! lol. The twirling is very unique and fun! I am a diabetic but I think I could get away with a small sample of the sweet pancake. Kristy I prefer your choice and like ketchup surrounding the taters,only over easy. I also heard that this place is better than standing in long lines at a downtown Gatlinburg & tastier too. The endearments that Brooks tells you are very lovely and I can see why. Do you have children? We were blessed with one and God gave us a beautiful daughter. Have a wonderful journeys ahead!

I didn't know that there was a pancake week in the Smokies. We missed it. 😭 Everything looks delicious. I know you guys are local but I would love to see you guys put out a video of great and affordable hotels in the area. Especially around Thanksgiving time. Do you think it's worth it to stay at one of the Dollywood resorts or is it better to stay somewhere cheaper? I bought a season pass and we are planning to come up on Thanksgiving and go to Dollywood for our first time trip for the Christmas festival the day after Thanksgiving and the next day. The biscuits and gravy at chubby's last week was absolutely amazing.

I grew calling them pancakes but hotcakes or flapjacks were acceptable too! I used to like Hunts ketchup always then as I got older I stopped liking it because it was more sweet. Now I am a Heinz ketchup lover only! It has more of sour taste less sweet! I used to use French mustard but mostly get Heinz mustard now!

Heinz ketchup and of course pancakes🤣🤣. Those pancakes looked so good. Quick question. Do those pancakes come with the skillets or are they two different entrees? It just looked like so much food. Also are the pancake balls given to everyone or do you order them separately. Sorry I know so many questions. We are coming with our grown sons in early May who have enormous appetites and are looking for good food that will fill them up.

Have always called them PANCAKES 🥞 The naming FLAPJACKS must have been a mountain thing. Ketchup favorite for me has to be HEINZ. Hunts to me has more acidity than any brand. FRENCH'S has no place but on Mustard and I have noticed in different restaurants they all serve different kinds of Ketchup some are just generic. Huddle House has a 5 gallon bucket of Ketchup-no brand-and just refill the Hunts bottle as it gets low..
