Ever wondered what type of paper to buy if you want to print your own planner inserts at home? In this video, I show you the different weighted paper and how well it performs when you use highlighters and markers. You may also want to watch this video kzbin.info/www/bejne/m5XUXn-sZdyppLc where I test the paper using Dot Markers.

Oh, I'm so glad you found the video helpful Marguerite. Yes, when I discovered thicker paper, made such a big difference in the type of markers I can finally use on my planner pages.

Very thorough and detailed video-I found it helpful to narrow down what I want to try. I don’t yet print my own inserts, but I want to start doing that for 2023. Would you consider doing a video like this on paper cutters? I like how detailed you are and the pacing of the videos. Thanks for another great video! ❤

Very good explanation of the weights. It also would be good to do a vid on the uncoated, sheen and glossy papers. I find the sheen and glossy papers difficult to write on. Theyre too slippery. But that is also a factor to consider.
@MarianeCresp3 ай бұрын
@@barkinoutloud9661 yeah, I don’t like slippery, shiny paper. I like that little bit of texture when writing ✍🏽

Great video just what i was looking for, Now where to find those 160 gsm paper in NZ or OZ. as most choice are only the basic printer paper or go to spotlight for paper pad which are expensive... Any tips where to find them - looking to make my budget planner/tracker. Thank you in advance

Hi, so glad you found the video helpful. I buy these ones from Officework www.officeworks.com.au/shop/officeworks/p/j-burrows-premium-160gsm-a4-digital-copy-paper-250-sheets-jpdp160250. I cut the A4 in half so I can use as A5 for my A5 planner or if I need for my personal size or pocket size planners, my printable have crop markings to trim it down to size.

Thank you for such a helpful video! My struggle has been finding a printer paper that is not ultra smooth. I find that most 32 or 41 (or all inkjet papers) have a smooth finish and I am looking for something with a slight bit of tooth to it (like happy planner pages) if you or anyone has a recommendation that would be so helpful! I can’t believe it’s so hard to find a non-smooth paper

So glad you liked the video. If you want toothier paper, have you tried drawing paper to see if that’s suitable?

@@MarianeCrespyou must have a 6th sense or something because I was literate Michael’s picking up some drawing paper today to try. Fingers crossed it can hold some printer ink. Thank you so much for the helpful suggestion and for your content!!

Do you have recommendations for sourcing the 160 GSM paper from the US?
@MarianeCresp2 жыл бұрын
I just added an Amazon affiliate link in the description that is A4160gsm weighted paper. I use A4 paper which I trim in half for my A5 planning.
