3:19 instead of playing like he shows, you can use your index finger to bar that entire cord. it was much more comfortable for me, instead of useing the index for one string, and the thumb for another

@@sapphyrequeen6798 a bar chord is when you take your index finger and put it across ALL the strings. you can just search for "bar chords" and tons of pictures/videos will show you this. :) good luck

It's easier for BEGGINER, if you're so comfortable with barres, learning this by ear should be no problem

Try lowering your thumb. If you grip the guitar too tight and your thumb is too high, your fingers have less mobility

I’m at the very beginning stages of guitar lessons. But here I go trying to jump ahead! 😂 Seems simple but I need to learn the basic notes for each string and know what I’m doing. That pinching isn’t like strumming. 🤦🏾‍♂️ Let me just stay in my lane! 😂😂😂

As someone who’s been playing guitar half their life, you absolutely do not need to learn notes. Learn as many challenging covers as possible and it will teach you better than learning any note.
