Your tutorials provide everything that a learning guitarist needs;chord progression, strumming, tabs, techniques, rendition to play along with... Nothing more to ask for in a tutorial.. You have no idea how much you are helping me.. I'm 37 yo and just started on a guitar a year ago.. from the Philippines here.. Thank you!

I have watched tutorials by dozens of people and this was my first time to see one of yours. You are the best, hands down. As a mom of four young kids I don't really have time to go take lessons somewhere, but I can do a tutorial on the porch while the kids play outside. Thank you so much for making your work available to the public!

Bro! Finally a tutorial that has everything to learn a fracking full song! You provided both finger picking and strumming version. I was almost crying when I found this. Guitar is not something that comes easy to me. Everything about it is a struggle. I want to learn one semi easy song that I can enjoy playing and continue my guitar learning journey. I have awful time trying to focus on one thing and it seems other youtube instructors well intentioned I am sure, but they rarely provide everything in one video. I can hunker down on this video and just practice the crap out of it. Thank you for making this video and doing this. I can tell you love to share the joy of guitar as I see the joy in your eyes when you play. When I sleep I hear music that I never heard before. I want to be able to play what I am hearing in my head and I believe like you, I have something that needs to be shared with the world. Thanks again!

Really love your tutorials man. Played cello all through my youth and I figured that would translate to all string instruments. When I decided at 38 to start trying to learn guitar, I was in for a bit of it surprise at how much knowledge and dedication it takes. Pandemic gave me a lot of time to start learning a new instrument so I did. I have found your videos and your style very good for me. There is certainly plenty of guitar lessons on KZbin, but not a lot that are actually helpful. I'll keep looking for your stuff! Thank you for doing what you do

My fifth song to learn after 5 days of getting a guitar. Well technically if songs do not include theme songs or basic ones like HBD then it is my second. My first one was Say you won't let go which I learnt from you. I still cannot sing while playing as my I fail to sync my voice with the rhythm of the guitar. Any help would be apprreciated. I have been watching your videos from years but never even had a chance to even touch a guitar. It hurted a lot on thr first day but now my fingers are rock solid. Thank you Dave. I wish you do more and more songs. The on screen tabs and chords help so much that when I watched someone else I got so angry at the fact that they provide the tabs for money and here you are doing everything for free. If it wasn't for you I would have never been able to play a guitar. Thank youuu :)

Thanks, it sounds quite effective when played like that. I love playing piano fingerstyle type covers on my acoustic guitar 😎 I must be honest it's strange I've been playing for years, but before KZbin all I had was tab and my ears and learning together with friends in the way of a jam lol as I don't read music 🎶 so I'm finding videos like this very useful, even though more than often I usually don't have to watch the video to long before I figure out what the cord progression and fingerpicking pattern is and I figure the rest out myself unless it's a bit of a more complicated number, but as an old guy who is fifty something, I think KZbin is excellent! And where I am just now has gone into lock down again 😔 but I'll have more time to play guitar again 😎 stay strong safe and sane all ♥ 🏴 ✌️

Hi Dave, thank you for another really easy to follow and learn song for guitar! Most people don’t realize if they stick with it they To could be hiding behind that guitar feeling really good about themselves playing songs they like and having people compliment them on their guitar & song playing skills, now for those of us with short fingers your alternate chord, F major ( on a wide neck classical guitar ) isn’t really possible, so I recommend short fingers try to use the barre F major. I like your F major chord too Dave, but I’m practicing / learning this song with my Cordoba classical acoustic guitar which has really wide neck. Thanks again, Peace Crazyhorse.
