Best PCP Air Rifle, Weihrauch HW100KT

I bought mine used back in 2016. Took it apart and put back together multiple times. Looks like it's been through 2 world wars. Still working fine. Nothing has changed apart from the o rings.

I have the very same rifle but with the newer stock version, they are cracking rifles and my god are they accurate. Some say that they are put of with the shot count but I’ve never gone out on a shoot and run out yet, they are so accurate that if the shooter does their part you don’t need any more air.

Thank you for your comment. I agree they are excellent rifles and I don't have a problem with the shot count on my 100KT or my bigger 100S. I use a 5ltr diving cylinder to fill them and I only get the cylinder refilled 2 to 3 times a year. 👍🇬🇧👍

I’ve just bought a HW100KT synthetic. Took it to an indoor 45 yard range and tried samples of 15 different.177 pellets, nothing beat the air arms diablo fields ( .452 ) though a couple were on a par…..

When I oiled my 100S I just oiled it straight away because a lot of the factory gravy stain had already worn off and the stock had become a bit dry but if you are going to do it property then i would say yes remove the factory stain and completely redo it from the begining for best results. 👍🇬🇧👍

I don't know if it's the best pcp as i haven't tried all the others but i own a hw100k and I won't be replacing it. Laser accurate, superb trigger and a simple magazine. The only slight downside is its a bit heavy for lugging around my permissions but that weight gives stability, so I'll take it. Superb rifles for sure.

the stud I bought for mounting a bipod was useless, it would not tighten down inline so the bipod could be monted, tired shims, split washer, nothing worked, got my money back as it was described to fit the HW100. Since bought a stud that has 2mm extra threads but not got round to trying it yet.

Thank you for your comment. Both studs iv bought for my rifles ended up being a little bit too long and had to be shortened because they were going all the way through the barrel band and against the air cylinder. 👍🇬🇧👍

Just found ya channel im a keen carp, barbel angler, any way got given one of these last week thats looking extremely sad, shroud missing and silencer, pellet mag, took me over a hour to get 10 pellets out the barrel 🙈 going to be sending it off the hw tuning for a full service and upgrades, dont want to see the gun in the scrap pile due to some fool has not looked after it

Thank you for your comment. Having used both the HW100 and the S510 I found the HW100s pros outweighed the S510s cons. I don't like the safety catch on the trigger blade, I don't want to be fiddling around with the trigger blade in the dark with my gloves on to engage/disengage the safety and I don't like the spring that comes down to the back of the trigger blade, I think it looks like an after thought borrowed from a click top biro pen, I found the magazine more fiddly and I don't like the way it just sits in that gap without a mechanism to keep it there, I don't like the way it can be accidentally double loaded and unless you spend more money on a "R" model the S510 is not regulated there are a few other things I didn't like about the S510 but these are the main issues which made me pick the HW100 because the HW100 doesn't have any of these issues. Just my honest opinion and reasoning behind my choice of what I personally believe to be the Best PCP Rifle (I've used) 👍🇬🇧👍
