This is probably the best performance carburetor for a 150cc bike, most of the carburetors are 26mm but this one is 29mm so there is more power available to you. TPS works flawlessly, for FZ16 ans SZR. choke functions works out of the box, stock accelerator cable works, but you need two things in order to fit this carb in your bike, check the video till the end.

Definitely, go ahead with the Gixxer carburettor. But keep in mind black smoke indicates that fuel is not burning, so there might be some other problems, like spart plug and coil.

This one is best as tps is functional. Pulsar carbs are cheap but tps will not work with them. So my opinion is to go for this carb. It's even better than stock carb.

Hi sir.. Here I have a doubt, may be silly.. There is a small curve shaped plastic box inserted in to the rubber tube which connecting air filter to the carburetor.. What's the use of it? I think it is directly opened to the atmosphere.. Another doubt.. That is called resonator, its there to eliminate noise coming due to mis firing, further smoothen out the engine noises.

This one is a perfect balance between mileage and performance, pulsar carb dont have functional tps sensor so throttle response is not that good, My opinion is to go for gix carb with some tuning it can do wonders.

It's stock handlebar of szr, szr szx and sz have same handlebar. I like the stock handle most, apart from this, you can also use handlebars of fz Gixxer hornet Himalayan etc..

Unicorn has a unique tps sensor plug, no other carburettor has it. You can use other carburettors but it will not be as smooth as stock one.

You can use any 150cc carburettor for unircorn. Like p150, Gixxer ,150, but Unicorn tps is very unique, will not work with other carburettors. So in idle rpm the power delivery may not be smooth.

That's really heart breaking, I wish everything becomes normal asap. Both stock mikuni carb and gixxer ucal carb is performance oriented. So don't expect high mileage out of them, If you really want the best mileage and forget about the performance for some time, I would suggest you to buy szr carburettor. Between the stock fz carb and gixxer carb, gixxer one is definitely better, if you consider its price to performance ratio. I hope that helps. Take care.

Exhaust valve clearance should always be greater than intake valve clearance, I don't have the service manual of rtr, when you don't have factory specs then always start with the valves being a little looser, then gradually reduce the clearance if needed. Start with intake .08mm exhaust .1mm if it makes noise then reduce it to .06mm in .08mm out.

Yes, this one is much better than fz carb for you as you are building a performance bike. Also with high intake and exhaust you must increase your carburettor size. So gixxer carb will suit best for your bike.

Yes, its same. May require to shuffle the wires, but the connector is spot on. Check my video on how to shuffle wires in a tps sensor, if it doesn't work dorectly.
