To get default mileage follow these steps according to bajaj workshop manual - warm up the engine, set idle screw to 1500 rpm. Then follow, 2.5 turns + or - 2 turns. That means, fully close the AFR screw. then open it at 2.5 turns. 2.5 is default(2 full turns and a half turns) and minus 2 turns mean Your screw position is at 1.5 turns(1 full turns and a half turn). 1.5 is lowest setting silencer gets popping sound(more air, less fuel, less power, 50 plus mileage). Plus 2 turns means 3.5 turns(3 full turns and a half turns)(less air, more fuel, more power, mileage between 40 and 45kmpl depending on your riding). After setting AFR screw, set the idle rpm to 1400 or 1500. Idle rpm is important. I recommend tuning it properly to get correct mileage. Turning the screw more than 3.5 turns will not get more power. You will get maximum power ath 3.5 turns and turning more than that will end up affecting the less fuel efficiency and less mileage.

@@theconqueror46 English and malayalam 👍🏻 First warm up your engine by riding atleast 4 to 5 km distance at a minimum speed of 45 to 55 kmph. Then close the AFR screw to fully close position where screw stops turning(don't over tight). Open the screw by counting the turns to 1.75 turns. That means 2 fulls turns and a .75turns. .75 That means a half turn and a quarter turns. Ride the bike again 2km and set the idle rpm to 1200. U will get better mileage 👍🏻. Still you didn't feel any increase in mileage, check spark plugs, tapet cleance, air filter, chain lubing and chain play etc.... കുറഞ്ഞത് 45 മുതൽ 55 കിലോമീറ്റർ വേഗതയിൽ കുറഞ്ഞത് 4 മുതൽ 5 കിലോമീറ്റർ വരെ ഓടിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് ആദ്യം നിങ്ങളുടെ എഞ്ചിൻ ചൂടാക്കുക. തുടർന്ന് AFR സ്ക്രൂ അടയ്ക്കുക, അവിടെ സ്ക്രൂ തിരിയുന്നത് നിർത്തുന്നു (ഇറുകിയിരിക്കരുത്). തിരിവുകൾ 1.75 തിരിവുകളായി കണക്കാക്കി സ്ക്രൂ തുറക്കുക. അതായത് 2 ഫുൾ ടേണുകളും ഒരു .75 ടേണുകളും. .75 അതായത് പകുതി തിരിവും കാൽ തിരിവും. ആകെ 1.75 തിരിവുകൾ. ബൈക്ക് വീണ്ടും 2km ഓടിക്കുക, നിഷ്ക്രിയ rpm 1200 ആക്കുക. നിങ്ങൾക്ക് മികച്ച മൈലേജ് ലഭിക്കും 👍🏻. എന്നിട്ടും നിങ്ങൾക്ക് മൈലേജിൽ വർധനവൊന്നും തോന്നിയില്ല, സ്പാർക്ക് പ്ലഗുകൾ പരിശോധിക്കുക, ടേപ്പറ്റ് ക്ലിയറൻസ്, എയർ ഫിൽട്ടർ, ചെയിൻ ലൂബിംഗ്, ചെയിൻ പ്ലേ തുടങ്ങിയവ...

I have a question: to determine the top RPM, I used to connect an analog multimeter on any of the lamps such as signal or headlamp, selecting the voltage, and ascertain the peak voltage, considering the bike produced max voltage at peak rpm.
