just backtest on 30M or H1 time frame, very good to take profit, I tested both GU and EU too. I have a small suggestion that the parameter ATR is adjusted, the second ATR factor: 1.9 change to 2.1. When I double check my 10 currency pairs account, it keeps hunters away. The downside if the market moves to a downtrend, it will lead to quite a loss, which can be overcome by entering up to 3 consecutive orders, no one knows how the future market will be, so capital management is always good prioritized. Sorry my Eng not good :D

Of course! So you have your 3 atr values in 1 indicator if you go into the settings and click on the inputs You can set the ATR length the second ATR multiplier and the third ATR multiplier. With the second ATR multiplier you can set how many times we want to multiply the 1x ATR value, so if you need 2xATR you just type in 2. With the third ATR multiplier you can set a multiple of the SECOND ATR multiplier so if you set the second atr multiplier to 2 and you set the third atr multiplier to 2 then you wil get : 2x2=4 ATR value. Great video! Question about the Long position/Short position tool, I noticed when you input the ATR values for the TP and SL you added the decimals paces without inputting the decimals in the TICK section, but when I attempt it, it doesn't factor in the decimals and I get inaccurate TP and SL targets. How do you change the settings in the Long/Short position tool to factor in decimals for the ATR values? Thank you

Thank you for sharing this backtest data! Well with every strategy it is possible that i just caught a good performing price data and thats why it worked so well for me. What you can do is check the losing trades and try to get an idea what causes them to loose. If you know a handful of indicators you might check applying different indicators as filters to filter out the loosing trades and implement that to your script (thats what i usually do when optimizing). Hi can you help me with my strategy? I have my 1 minute TF RSI divergence strategy for bitcoin. I tested it myself for 38 test so far and I got 62% win rate for 1:2 RR. What I do is get the divergence indicator and draw trend lines after the signal flashed wait for the breakout and market structure retest ( Either trendline or S and R) .My problem is how to make it objective based strategy since it's a combination of indicators and price action. Hey there, If you want to make trendline breakouts objective you can try using a 20 or 50 EMA and if price breaks above the EMA and then retest that ema you can enter, or you can try to use the supertrend just like the EMA. Well you can try but i dont really like trading the heikin ashi because the candle close points are not accurate and it can easily mislead you. Heikin ashi is a good tool to signal the direction but not for trading

No problem. Lets say you get a buy entry signal you set up the stop loss and take profit (let's say 1:2 Risk to Reward) now you wait to one of them to get hit. If the take profit got hit first you wait until the stop loss is hit too now when both the take profit and stop loss got hit 1 time you get a range of the price movement. Now you can check within that range What would have been the best Risk to Reward settings (usually price can move way futher than you set take profit target) if you check all of the trades this way and gather the data, you can make a good statistic about what would be the best Risk to reward ratio to get the most out of each trade. With the stop loss lets say you have a 1 to 2 RR again. You can easily make a statistic of how far the price moved against you BEFORE hitting the take profit target and adjust the ATR risk accordingly. IF you need further clarification or you have any questions don't hesitate to ask.

They are accurate but we still need much more candle data to be able to say a strategy is reliable enough to live trade. For the macd cmf script I did a best settings video. Between that videos release date and the scripts release date the script has made money in the first 3 weeks and I discussed that in the best settings for the script video. Currently i am optimizing and searching for indicators which can filter out loosing trades. Already found a few good ones which we will implement later on in our scripts. I think the most-losers-in-a-row and most-winners-in-a-row is mixed up. It shows total 21 losers, so it can't be 25 lose in a row :D Which is also evident in equity curve. However, this is a great finding as a strategy. I'll backtest myself too.

You should not scam people you trust like that, when I backtested the winning rate was 82% but when I traded for real, in 2 weeks there were 15 wins and 20 losses, with 7% each trade I lost 20% of my account (60k dollars) BECAUSE for example when buying, the price went up, STOCK RSI cut at 8:15, when I entered the order the price went down and didn't cut anymore, LOST, and when I waited for the 8:15 candle to end to buy, the price had gone too far, Open an order => STILL LOSS. I'm very disappointed in you, unfollowed

The second atr is 1.9 that is going to be our take profit target value, and the third atr will multiply the second atr (1.9) value. If we want to get the 3xatr value we need to multiply 1.9x1.5789=3 that is going to be our stop loss. And don't forget that the atr is set to 16 period not 14.

100 backtests are not enough to consider a strategy reliable and to use it with confidence. You must test it a lot more and do your own research first.

hey when you backtest this strategy, i realized something, i paused it multiple times to see if the profit level was reached, and it was, but only after you already entered another trade, doess this mean we should enter another trade, and buy more shares when another buy signal appears? or should we wait until the trade we are in to finish

No it does not, every stop loss and take profit level is set at the entry. Although thing we should consider that this way there will be a lot of cases when you are in 4 or even more open positions meaning you risk 4-8% of your account balance on the same target. And this is not something we like to do in a good risk management system.

Correct that was a typo. The strategy do not have 25 losses in a row. Check out the equity curve you will see what was the biggest loosing streak. Max losses in a row is 3.

I just backtested this strategy on btc/usdt from march 1 to 31 and i got 28 wins and 12 losers and only 4.8% profit the whole month

As I usually say 100 trades are not enough to prove a strategy's profitability on the long run. So it's possible that we have -20% gain on a particular month, then 80% profit and then 4.8% the next month. What matters is the long run.

Im sorry for your loss as always we state that past performance(backtest) does not guarantee that the strategy will work as great in the future. Different strategies can work well for different time periods, some work for a month some work for years and some doesnt work at all because od overfitting. We are not financial advisors and none of our content is financial advice. Also I made once a video where I tested a few of the best strategies on the strategy ranking sheet and none of them gave the same results as in the 100 trade backtests. This is very common as 100 trade backtest is not nearly enough to trust a strategy. You always have to monitor a strategy and use paper money and see if it's working or not before investing real money.
