There's a neighborhood literally right outside of that park I used to live in. And I had no idea that the bass was running like that I used to go there at the catfish. Kind of make me want to move back over there

Nice bud, used to fish JJ alot. Right before the bend, before the water treatment plant used to be the spot.. many, many floods ago. Used to take the trail at the end of lee road back before the houses were put up. Couple decent stock trout ponds in the area as well in the winter.

Do y'all eat these white bass? They don't typically get nearly that big up here in NW Louisiana. For the most part, we just consider them a nuisance fish that gets in the way when we're crappie fishing.

@ also. If you walk further down pass those two guys next to you, the creek have a curve in it, if you wade out a little and cast to the further side of the curve, it’s a honey hole right there. I know I shouldn’t be giving free game for the internet but idk. It’s way more spots over there than that with little holes ✊🏾. Free game
