Open in Swiss, and borrow against portfolio at only 1.5-2.2%. You never sell portfolio, so never pay capital gains tax. Thats how smart folk do. Swiss always has low rates, and obviously one of the strongest, safest currencies. Japan has lower, but currency is not as stable etc. He said 1mil or more to open in Oman, meanwhile in swiss can open at 500k. Matter of fact if you have a great interview and show that you really looking for very long relationship formation with bank, can open for 250k usd. Yup, thats correct.

If someone deposits are large amount in millions of Omani Rials with a bank in oman to divest the same amount in the Sovereign Government Bank issued Bonds by the Central Bank of Oman in order to get a long term monthly income from bank account with management fee to be charged by bank, would it be possible?
