Thanks for this awesome video Jaime! We moved to Navarre in early 2022 (transplants/refugees from upstate New York) and LOVE IT HERE!!! Every town around us has so many interesting places to visit, the shopping is great and we even have The Blue Angels flying overhead almost all year round! What's NOT to love about living in the Pensacola area, right? God Bless You all, and keep up the great work!! Thanks!

Pensacola is my ideal place to retire. I want to buy a house no bigger than 1500 sqft because I’m by myself. Hopefully towns like Cantonment Pace and Milton have housing options for me not just for starting a family

We're going to move to a PCola suburb & are considering Cantonment. You mentioned industry & I know there's a paper mill, which typically has an odor. How much of an impact do you think the mill has on quality of life in the area?
@LivingInPensacolaGroup6 ай бұрын
Hi @@cindyonyoutube! Thanks for your comment. It's great to hear that you're considering a move to the Pensacola area. Cantonment does have a paper mill, and you're right-it can occasionally produce an odor. However, the impact on daily life varies depending on the wind direction and proximity to the mill. Many residents find that the benefits of living in Cantonment outweigh this occasional inconvenience. The area offers a great sense of community, excellent schools, and more affordable housing compared to some other Pensacola suburbs. Plus, it's close to beautiful outdoor recreational activities, perfect for families and nature lovers. Additionally, Cantonment is only a short drive away from downtown Pensacola, providing easy access to the city's amenities while maintaining a quieter, suburban feel. I recommend visiting the area at different times to get a better sense of what to expect. If you'd like more detailed information or have further questions, feel free to call or schedule a Zoom meeting with us. We're here to help!

Gulf Breeze is the upscale congested area of Pensacola. Also the homes of those who want to be queen and king of the pumpkin patch.
@LivingInPensacolaGroup5 ай бұрын
@@michaelduke4500 Ah, Gulf Breeze-where the traffic is as dense as the pumpkin patch competition! 😄 But hey, if you’re going to be king or queen of something, it might as well be near the beach, right? Thanks for watching and for the chuckle-worthy comment!
@therighthandmann5 ай бұрын
@@LivingInPensacolaGroup I live in the eastern edge of the GB area. The traffic jam is not due to GB, it is primarily due to the Midway and Navarre commuters going thru GB because that is the direct road to PNS. You are spot-on about Milton being "laid back" - actually closer to comatose. And, finally, no pumpkin patch competition in GB. But lots of creative holiday lighting competition here.
@LivingInPensacolaGroup5 ай бұрын
@@therighthandmann We were just being playful with the OP. We love GB. We've only ever experienced traffic there during rush hour and high tourist season. Anyone who wants to complain about the traffic here clearly has never lived in Atlanta or somewhere similar! It's really not that bad. And where can we find more info about this Christmas light competition? 😁

The only thing I can say that is bad about Pensacola is the homeless situation that is growing downtown in the Palafox area. Several businesses are moving because of it. No reason to have to step over someone going into a shop or smell the urine going into a restaurant.

I thought this was going to be a video about the actual SUBURBS OF PENSACOLA... not the TOWNS NEAR PENSACOLA... Brent, Bellview, Ferry Pass, Ensley, Beulah... those are actual suburbs just outside Pensacola City limits, are not incorporated towns of their own and are actual suburbs of Pensacola. Everything in this video are incorporated towns near Pensacola... certainly they are OPTIONS TO LIVE and are NEAR Pensacola, but they're not suburbs of Pensacola. The video is accurate and factual on each of these towns, and many people that live in them certainly visit and/or work in Pensacola, but I think the title of the video is a tad misleading... especially when it comes to Navarre... which, if we're going by the definition of "suburbs" I would consider a Navarre a "suburb" of Ft Walton rather than Pensacola.

@@wolfshanze5980 Thanks so much for watching and sharing your insights! It's clear you have a deep understanding of the area, and that kind of local knowledge is invaluable, especially for people considering a move here. While we focused on communities that are more popular in terms of schools, safety, and overall community appeal, we definitely see the value in the areas you mentioned too. We appreciate you taking the time to help educate others, and we’ll keep this in mind for future videos. Thanks again for your input!

You should have said the western panhandle area as they are all outskirts of Pensacola
@LivingInPensacolaGroup4 ай бұрын
@@estellemeredith8256 there's seems to be some confusion around what suburb means: An area on the edge of a large town or city where people who work in the town or city often live. Or An area within a metropolitan area which is predominantly residential and within commuting distance of a large city. So by your definition, the outskirts of Pensacola, you are correct. Each of these can be considered a suburb of Pensacola, as they are all closest to our western most metropolitan city in Florida. In other countries mainly, is suburb defined as a neighborhood or area within a metropolitan city.

Don't move here. Its being destroyed, overcrowded and crime is soaring.
@LivingInPensacolaGroup4 ай бұрын
Thank you for sharing your thoughts! We understand that with growth comes challenges. Recent crime statistics actually show a downward trend in Pensacola, with both violent and property crime rates decreasing compared to previous years. It's always good to stay informed and aware, but the idea that crime is spiraling out of control in Pensacola doesn't align with the available statistics. There are some legitimate concerns about overdevelopment and pollution, but many local programs are working hard to protect and restore our beautiful area. We hope local leadership continues working on addressing these concerns as more people discover all the things that make this place special. 😊
