Hi, Anthony-sanThanks again for your encouraging comments! 😁 I'm thrilled that you found the video helpful for planning your trip to Ginzan Onsen. The Onsen is so popular that you can't make reservations for accommodations, so I've come up with this plan so that you can enjoy Ginzan Onsen even if you can't find a place to stay. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. Thanks again! 😊🌟Have a wonderful Christmas and New Year!

こんにちは敦子さん。 Nice tour as usual, i love the video i saw of this place especially during the winter when it's full of snow. The only down sight is it seems a little too crowded but i get why 😅 (they all come to see あつこさん). This prefecture is one of the best, you should also visit 蔵王温泉 if you can ! But maybe it's more skiing oriented ? I wish you the best for the next year and i hope you keep sharing with us a great year of 2024 full of 敦子さん tours🥰 メリークリスマス ハッピーニューイヤー

おはようございます, Eodis-san!😍 Thank you for consistently watching my videos and for your encouraging comments! I would indeed love to visit Zao to see the Snow Monsters as well.☃☃This winter, it was unusually warm across the country, and there wasn't much snow. However, recently, the temperature dropped suddenly, and snow started falling in various places. For the coming year, I plan to create video tours of the places you recommended. Additionally, there's a location from "ゆるキャン" that I've been wanting to visit, so I'll be making a video about that too! Hehe😁 Nous vous souhaitons un merveilleux Noël et une nouvelle année fantastique ! Que 2024 vous apporte des expériences incroyables, Eodis-san ✨🎄🎅✨

Sorry for being so late, the week was very stressful.😭😭😭 Ginzan onsen is rightfully one of the hallmarks of Japan. How I regret not being able to visit there. Every time I watch such videos, I have associations with the cartoon "Gone with the GHOSTS". How I regret not being able to be there.😭😭😭 p.s. I wish everyone a happy new year. Aston-san🥰あけましておめでとうございます。本年もよろしくお願いします←This is a Japanese New Year greeting! What a wonderful way to start the New Year - receiving your comment at the beginning of 2024! It sounds like you had a busy end to the year. I hope you are now free from stressful situations. I have been to Ginzan Onsen before, but last time I couldn't see the view at night with the lights on, so I decided to go back again! It truly felt like the world of 'Gone with the GHOSTS' If you ever get a chance, I'd love to take you to Ginzan Onsen. I've been exploring that area for a while now and know a lot about it.😁 Also, thank you for the wonderful New Year's wish! In Japan, 2024 is the Year of the Dragon, symbolizing development and good fortune. May this year bring you prosperity and good luck!✨🐲🍀

Thank you so much for posting this video of the incredibly beautiful Ginzan Onsen! It's like a Christmas gift, seeing this! While we have baths here (Saratoga Springs, in NY state), they for whatever reason do not have them above luke warm! (they say it'd affect the benefits of the minerals) Also, the baths are each individually given to each patron as a private bath (think a large bath tub). I have always wanted to go to a REAL bath house/town where I could soak. Japan has been so blessed with all the hot springs! We here in the United States are jealous! I always look forward to your videos, and am excited to see what you bring us in the upcoming new year!

Oyahougozaimasu😁Douglas-san, thank you always for your encouraging comments! Your comments always motivate me.🥰Arigatou I looked into Saratoga Springs Spa to see what it's like, and indeed, it seems quite different from the spas in Japan. It's great that the spa offers private rooms, allowing you to take your time! They even have a drinkable spa,😲 and I was curious about its taste. While some onsens in Japan offer private rooms, most are shared, which might make you feel a bit embarrassed at first. However, the experience is so delightful that I hope you get a chance to try it. So, I'll practice my magical instantaneous movement to bring you to Japan!✨✨ Hoping you enjoy a very merry Christmas and a happy New Year!🎄🎅😍

The clarity of your video and the smooth movement is wonderful. I enjoy just reading the english subtitles and enjoying the experience with the appropriate background music as it is easier to understand the information better. Your information and comments are so helpful. The Dango and soba really looks good. We will be visiting Yonezawa Onogawari onsen for the 1st time in the 1st week of December. I was thinking of going to Ginzan onsen for a few nights but getting seats on the bus to and fro is a little concerning (I am not sure when you took the bus). If I may make a suggestion, it will be helpful if you can state the date and year of your visit at the start of the trip and the temperature as you reach the town. That will give us a good idea of the climate conditions and views. Thanks once again.👍🏼

Traveljet-san, thank you soooo much for the helpful advice. I’ve now added the date to the video 😁. The day I actually visited Ginzan Onsen was December 8th. I believe your trip will be roughly a year after mine, so the weather in my video might serve as a useful reference for your journey. I don't remember the temperature exactly, but I think it was probably below 5 degrees Celsius. If you're considering staying at Ginzan Onsen, I recommend booking as soon as possible. Also, if you stay at Tendo Onsen, they organize tours from there to Ginzan Onsen, so staying in Tendo might be a good option too. www.tendodays.com/tour/ginzan-twilighttrip/

@@GetToKnowJapanTogether that’s great. I tried to book Takimikan but they have not opened the dates for December yet. That ryokan is at the end and up on the hill so it’s quieter. But I will do more research and see if we want to do it this Dec or KIV. Thanks for giving me a rough idea of the date so I can consider our choices. We already have 4N at a hotspring ryokan with kaiseki at Onowagari onsen (3 Dec 2024) and are supposed to spend 2-3N in Kawagoe for a change from kaiseki. But if I forego Kawagoe for Ginzan Onsen, then it’s another 3N of kaiseki which may be a little too much after Onowagari. I know it’s not even considered a problem as we are blessed to even be able to consider staying so many nights. We are seniors and like to take it at a leisurely pace. Day trips or 1N are definitely out for us. In any case, thanks for all your helpful videos. Keep up the passion for travel and vblogging in your own style😁

@@Traveljet14 Are you planning to visit Kawagoe in Saitama Prefecture, famous for Koedo? If so, then It is conveniently located near Tokyo and there are many places to eat. Suppose you want to enjoy a traditional Japanese scenery, I recommend Ouchi-juku in Fukushima Prefecture, where you can change to a local train at Koriyama Station on the way back from Yamagata. Lake Inawashiro is in that area, and swans fly in from Siberia in December. There are hotels in that area, so I think you can enjoy more than just kaiseki cuisine. It is fun to plan a trip! I hope you have a wonderful trip! Thank you for your kind words of encouragement!Happy Valentine's Day

@GetToKnowJapanTogether Жыл бұрын
Ohayougozaimasu!Раша-san😁Thank you for your comment😁Dango and mochi have similar flavors! Both are made from rice, but the way they are made is completely different. Dango is made from rice that has been ground into powder, similar to wheat flour, while mochi is made by steaming whole grains of rice and then kneading them. In terms of texture, mochi stretches like cheese .I want to treat you to both of them!🤩

Amazing vídeo! The last bus is 18:22 right? Its ok take this in Winter to get the last shinkansen to tokyo 20:12 in Oishida? Is there time to see the night in Ginzan? What time does it get dark?
@GetToKnowJapanTogether10 ай бұрын
Hi Yan-san,😉Thank you for your comment! The bus departs at 18:21. If you take that bus, you can catch the Shinkansen at 20:12. However, JR changes its train schedule every year in March, which may affect the bus time. Please check the link in the description for the latest bus schedule. In February, the sun usually sets after 5:00 p.m., allowing you to enjoy the scenery of Ginzan Onsen after dark by taking the bus. However, if you wait until it is completely dark, you may not be able to board the bus if many people are waiting. (By the way, in December when I visited, the sun was setting after 4:00 pm ) Wishing you good luck on your trip!

Thanks for the fantastic video and helpful details. May i trouble you with a couple of questions please? Please try to answer them when you have time because it will be very helpful for my upcoming trip. Im planning to visit Ginzan Onsen on Nov 3 (Sunday). Here are my questions: 1. Ill be traveling by the early morning Shinkansen from Tokyo and looks like it arrives at Oishida at 9:40 and the bus seems to depart at 9:50. Would that leave enough time for me to store luggage and catch th bus? I'm worried 😢 2. Nov 4 seems to be Culture Day holiday in Japan. Would that make things more crowded and my worry about earlier question true?
@GetToKnowJapanTogether5 ай бұрын
Hi! Sea Salt Lemon-san😆😆 Thank you for watching my video! I also took that Shinkansen before and visited Ginzan Onsen. Here is the link to that video. kzbin.info/www/bejne/bmq4i4esf8iWgZY You will have enough time to transfer to the bus. However, once you leave the Shinkansen, please head straight to the bus stop. That day is a public holiday in Japan, making it a three-day weekend (Saturday, Sunday, and Monday). However, since it's the last day of the long weekend, I don't think the tourist spots will be very crowded (as everyone is heading home). But on that day, the return Shinkansen might be crowded. All seats on the Yamagata Shinkansen are reserved. If reservations are full, you won't be able to board. Regardless of Japanese holidays, the number of foreign tourists has increased significantly, making the Shinkansen crowded. Please don't forget to book in advance! Shinkansen tickets go on sale one month before the travel date at 10 AM. It's the beautiful season for autumn leaves! I recommend taking a walk in Shirogane Park. Enjoy your trip!🍁

Hi! Alvin-san, Your profile picture ramen looks delicious! I filmed this video on December 8th, so I think the sunset on the 13th will be similar. The average sunset time in Ginzan in December is after 4 PM. If the bus is full, you'll have to take a taxi, so it's a good idea to go to the bus stop early and line up. When I went about an hour before the bus departure, no one else was in line yet 😅. The bus should run unless the road is blocked by a landslide or something similar. Waiting for the bus was extremely cold, so please dress warmly! Have a great trip.
