Oh my god, thank you so much for sharing this with us! I always wanted a thing like that to exist in Vroid, or at least the anti-aliasing to be implemented bc the pixelated lines are very distracting to me. This is a life saver and you explained it so clearly I had zero issues getting it to work! Oh my gosh the ability to set camera view! This is huge, the one thing I always hated about Vroid was the lack of camera views because Im so used to having them in other software. Thank you so much for sharing this.

Hey, I just followed my video and reinstalled the plug in, it didn't work in the first place, but it worked again after I installed the latest VroidChinese and VroidXYtoll, you can try that again, hope it helps!

I use vroid overlay to get accurate vroid styles, but does this accept semi transparent references? I might switch to this instead.

I’ve used transparent PNGs and that works, but I’m not sure if the semi transparent pictures work..

For me, the plugin won't allow for more than 3 textures to be used for the link texture feature at a time. Why is this?

Not really , I think if the model is too tall you can import a grid and scale it …

Hello I'm having a little problem with the plugin. I've been using it for 4 weeks and it's pretty good! But suddenly yesterday, the plugin became unusable, I tried to reinstall everything including the software itself but still didn't change anything. Please help 🥺🙏🏻

Could you explain a bit what kind of unuseable it is ? I normally use ‘Tab’ key to bring up the interface

The 'tab' key isn't working and the Chinese character icon in the upper right corner doesn't appear.

I'm not sure if you're still experiencing this issue, but if so check the appdata folder on your PC. You might have Vroid installed under programs in there. If so, you can install the plugin here and it should fix your problem.

I finally got it to work - Just in case anyone else runs into this issue, it would NOT work on regular install no matter what I did. I had to get the steam version, and then it worked flawlessly with no issues. :)

hey! I got downvoted to hell when I asked on r/vroid LMFAO but i'm here to answer after a few hours of googling and messing with files! no, this does not work on Mac as dll files are usable only on windows afaik. Also, the developer of vroid XY tool does not have a Mac and from what i can gather does not intend to add Mac support. The source code is available on Github if anyone wants to compile this for Mac - of course, ask the creator first. Pretty tragic that this doesn't work, but from what I heard you CAN kind of use hair textures to create references, but this doesn't work that well for full body refs. If I can find a way to utilise hair groups to make full body references I'll let you know!

Hello! I did it the way you did, I'm using version 1.20.0, and the window doesn't pop up when I open Vroid Studio. The Chinese plugin works, so plugins in general do work, but the VroidXYTool doesn't. Have you tried it in version 1.20.0?

yes! I’m using Vroid XY tool in latest version as well, have you tried Tab to call it out ? Maybe there’s a possibility that the window moves out of the Vroid application window?

@@Moe_Bun Yeah, I've tried that. I managed to solve it by installing Steam and the Steam version instead. It seems that the plugin currently works only for the Steam version
