Hey I wanted to ask with your entry point, dont sets usually when they come out the prices sre extremely high. When do you wait to buy a psa 10. I really like your strategy and want to work on doing what you do.

I usually try to give it around 6 months unless I think the card is low enough sooner. Sometimes you may have gotten it cheaper if you bought before like with the greninja from twilight masquerade but at least you don’t get those massive falls either, like a lot of people experienced with the iono from paldea evolved for example

Well I have 2 and I'm holding them longterm, so probably more people like me. Since the population is pretty small, you won't see a bunch up at the same time and when it is on ebay, it might sell quickly since people don't know when's the next time someone will be willing to part with theirs

@ I scooped one for 1200, that was a good call. The matching cards from stellar crown are super underrated as well. If they ever get some momentum I could see all three being worth a ton

what are your thoughts on japanese? Im definitly collecting japanese only because I just love the cards more. I got the japanese gengar alt art psa 10 just lately for $600, not sure if thats a good move?

Recently picked up the Pikachu MasterBall in a PSA10 for $240 and it’s been bouncing back. I believe I bought it at it’s lowest. Wish I would have picked up a few of them at that price point. Nice video!

Love the videos! Just to clarify for all of you here. Returns as mentioned often in this video only occur after selling the investment. Thus receiving the returns in exchange for selling the asset. If you hold the investment still then it is unrealized gains by way of the asset that you hold. You don't have returns per se until after you "realize" the gains meaning selling the asset.

I only buy raw Japanese and Go for PSA 10 English and sealed product. I feel raw Japanese and sealed will do very well this year. There are too many PSA 10s in Japanese for prices to go up unless half of the market moves into Japanese which I feel not maybe half but many people this year I’m hearing are moving over to Japanese sealed and raw since English prices are out of hand ✋ now 😅

Is it even to get PSA assessment in European Union? Seems like this kind of flipping can be done only in US and EU cards are usually not graded since i guess it must be pretty expensive to ship them overseas both ways

I’m long term focused so not selling any time soon. However, I suggest selling (if you wanna sell soon) during times like this where the market is really strong whether it’s on Facebook, eBay or shows. I will be sure to document my selling journey one day, but it won’t be for years. There’s better Pokémon investor channels for the selling side of things I’m sure

I’m seeing crazy gains on singles I’ve bought since I started collecting in late 2023. However, I’m looking forward to the bear market. If you love these cards when they’re worth these prices, imagine getting them on massive discount. Be greedy when others are fearful.

I appreciate you putting the losses. It is good to see the other side if the story. It sucks, but good lessons learned for yourself and everyone watching. If English continues to struggle getting product out, I expect to see a higher shift over to Japanese. I don’t think you will be down for very long.

I do buy raw singles but even if I doubled or even close to tripled my money on some, like the drowzee from scarlet and violet base, these psa investments ended up being my best returns

Singles and older sets is where I have to focus on. With the newer sets not being available at the Pokemon Center and LGS’s either selling for triple or lying about how much they got, I’m done with the chase.

Same. Pokemon center crashed and I couldn't get anything journey together and I won't be buying it for double or triple msrp so it either goes down at some point or I'm cool with missing out
