@@TheBrownGent while the odds were technically in his favor purely based on the number of cards in the deck, after seeing 4 straight non-spades, in a randomly shuffled deck, the likelihood of seeing one spade in the next 2 cards is exponentially higher. If it was only 51% and you make that bet, you're actually betting closer to 25% odds than 50%. He only needs to hit one spade. And the likelihood of seeing the 10 of spades and another 10 or a King to beat his flush with a full house is astronomically lower. It's a bad bet

It s the best 5 cards that matter. In that hand, there are 2 bigger pairs than 3s on the board (9s and the other pair). So there are 4 cards. The fifth card of Daniel is just a 3. But the fifth card of Foxen is Higher. Foxen wins with high card

His pair gets counterfitted by the King. Therefore the best 5 cards for foxen are KK99 and her 8. For Daniel it is KK99 and his 3. His Pair does not play anymore. There is a possibility for a chopped pot if a 9 or K would come on the river making both of them a full house. I hope that clears things up.
