I can’t express how EASY it was to install. This unit has been a life savior during the summer and some days during other seasons where it can still be a bit warm at night. In this small place is my friend, a husky, poodle mix and myself. We need AC - lolI don’t use the dehumidifier option - I’m not sure if it will leak in my house, since I did not install the small draining hose that came with it. May look into it late but I don’t worry about much humidity in the apartment. I don’t understand why the negative reviews since all things mentioned, I personally did not find issues with. Definitely worth it!

I just bought the little Artic Air table top air conditioner....I LOVE IT!!! I fill it with 2 cold bottled waters from the refrigerator and put it on my nightstand facing me in my bed....I works great and the air is purified so it smells crisp, fresh and clean too. It cools me off completely within minutes. The sound lulls me to sleep..the soft light is relaxing too..I can not say enough good things about this cute, efficient, easy to use, inexpensive, very cooling (close up) little air conditioner...I really, really, LOVE IT!!!

I've seen something like this in an older home that had no central heat or air at all.. but it wasn't vented to the outside. Is that necessary or can this just be set in a room and turned on? I enjoy your videos! Something actually extremely useful to practical people

BeautyByCourtney. It has to vent the hot air it makes to the outside...It also drips water so you must placed above something to catch the water and you must dump the water before the container it drips into fills up.

I did miss out on the Avista 8,000 BTU air conditioner unit deal, & noticed they've replaced it with something else (Shinco 8000 BTU Portable Air Conditioner (SPAZ08W). Vanetta Thomas Right...is there a drainage tube to remove water...or is there a reservoir that needs to be emptied every few hours. How loud is it...will it keep me awake if used in my bedroom? What is the BTU rating?

Hi! I did show it connected. Vent expands to about 10 feet. It's best relatively close to a window.. within 5 feet.

Hi Jack. All product info is on the link under the video window in terms of BTU. 8,000 feet. Same amount of noise as any competing products. I didn't get into the reservoir since everyone's room, climate and level of humidity is different but in the Northeast in 90 degrees, the reservoir needs to be emptied every 48 hours at least.
