Cool little smoker, I have been wanting a traiger but too expensive. Saw your channel on RV on the wayside. See you again

I would love a Traiger but aside from the expense, difficult to travel with I'm sure. But,,,when we get back to sticks and bricks, that will be my smoker of choice! Thanks for subscribing!

Use a large water tray on the bottom rack to catch everything and not need to fill that teeny water tray and use a putty knife 😊

Saw you at the livestream last night. Wanted to get over and check out your channel. Great video. Your video quality is fantastic. Looked at your description and saw lots of GoPro products. Are you using GoPro for everything? This smoker looks awesome. We use our griddle when we camp. Not sure we'd have room to travel with a smoker. But the probe thermometer with the ability to control your settings looks awesome! New subscribers here. We will definitely be back for more!

Thanks for watching. Sorry we didn't get back to you earlier. We are doing our Amazon CamperForce time through December. It's grueling but we can handle it. We plan on putting out a video or two on this project as we have always been curious if it would be interesting to do or not. I use a griddle too. It's the Blackstone 17" and it is wonderful. I use that more than the smoker and will probably do a video on that but the smoker is small enough that it doesn't get in our way even if I use it infrequently. We use both the GoPro Hero 5 and 8 and aside from our iPhones, that's all we use right now. Kevin says we need to get another camera for tripod shots. We'll see. I love your videos. Your video on Great Smoky Mts was awesome. We have gone to Gatlinburg many times but before we had an RV. I actually own a timeshare at Westgate which is across the road from the Welcome Center you're in. We're subscribed and look forward to your videos. They are very upbeat, just the way I like them!

@@CompassRoadz Thank you so much for the information. That's awesome that you're doing the Amazon CamperForce. We'll be on the lookout for a video to learn about that. We love the Gatlinburg area and try to get there 1-2 times per year. We'll keep a watch for you on our videos!

Thank you for watching. Dan worked in radio part time while active duty military. He has a great voice. He amazes me with how well he speaks. I (Kevin) mumble and speak too fast most of the time.

Looks like a cool smoker. Wouldn't mind getting something like this, but that would be something else we would have to pile into the back of the truck.
@CompassRoadz
@CompassRoadz 4 жыл бұрын
At first we were planning on putting it in storage before we started traveling with the RV. But with it being only 20 lbs and small to fit inside the trailer door when we travel, I just put it under the slide when we get somewhere and it hasn’t been a pain in the butt like we originally thought.
@CompassRoadz
@CompassRoadz 3 жыл бұрын
I agree, I didn't have room in the back of the truck with everything else we have, so I almost put it in storage. But putting inside the front door when we travel and leaving it under the slide when stopped has worked for us. Now I just make sure I use it enough to warrant traveling with it.

I hit Like on the video. I have this Masterbuilt Portable Smoker and love it! For some reason, I do not think Masterbuilt makes this model anymore. No longer on the Masterbuilt or QVC website. Great video.

It got in our bellies. We don’t mess around when it comes to eating. No time for pulling out the cameras and letting the food get cold! lol. 😂. But, I may be doing more cooking videos in the future and I’ll keep that in mind to have the cameras set up before taking the food out. Thanks for watching!

Ok so I have looked everywhere to find this out but I was given this smoker and I’m just now using it but when I plug in the cord the little orange like comes on and the after like 20min it cuts off. Is that what it’s supposed to do or is my cord bad? It has never been used
@CompassRoadz
@CompassRoadz 3 жыл бұрын
Hi. Your cord is working properly. It will light orange while it teaches temperature. You can tell it’s working if, once it goes out, you raise the temp and the light comes back on.

Well there is an analog thermometer on the unit and I also have an oven thermometer I keep inside. After using it awhile you get to know where to set the dial.
