You hit the description right on!! It sounds like they included their direct reflecting feature on this speaker. The sound bounces around - really good separation and the bass response is impressive for this size speaker. I’ve been using mine over my bigger speakers this past week while i work.

the best is teufel rockster cross or jbl xtreme 4 in that size and weight category..they cist 230-350 and sound better. even Marshall Middleton is better. this bose is way too expensive for its sound wuality. max worth 230-300.

@@davidperez-iz9wx might be true, but xtreme 4 is waterproof too and thr buuld quality id great on teufel and marshall and xtreme , while thry are cheaper and sound even better or the same. I would never pay 100 dollar rxtra just for a better water proofness - i dont need to swim with my speaker. and thr xtreme 4 is waterproof and all thr others mentionef csn take rain easily. the bose is just too expensive.max worth 300 for what it offers

@@davidperez-iz9wx if i buy a speakre, i pay for best sound and not for water proofness...i dont want to swim with a speaker and i wont payextra 150 euro just for a little better finish and waterproofness. rather get a speker for 250 which sounds as good or even better

​@davidperez-iz9wx You are suppose to only use the charger that it came with. My Max charges extremely fast and as a matter of fact it is the fastest charging speaker I have. After eight hours of playing the battery is only down to seventy percent so that has to be factored in too.
