I love this foundation and I have dry skin, lasts a good 11 hrs. I think if you’re oily stay away and that sounds mad for a powder foundation but she’s made it so well that it looks great on dry/normal skin types

Dude, my personal trick to combat combination skin is to get 2 different Cerave face washes - anti-drying cream wash for my dry areas (cheeks, temples, neck) and anti-oil wash for my T-zone. I do one, wash off, then the other, wash off, then follow with cool water to close pores. Then I put on serum and moisturizer to all areas except my T-zone. Give this a try. It's important to not mix the washes - to wash each area separately. This has literally been the only way to deal with my combination skin. You don't have to use just one face wash for your face. Use one for each zone separately. Your oily areas will have less oil, and your dry areas will by hydrated. All with Cerave, nothing pricey. You're welcome 🙂

Using CeraVe, LaRoche Posey and Avene has literally taken care of my combination skin. I now have normal skin! I swear! Learned it from the Budget Dermatologist right here on YT. I can’t even believe that I have normal skin now.

I thought i was the only one who does the 2 face washes I use Laroche posey oil cleanser on my dry areas and Cerave acne control cleanser and it works good cause I'm so so oily in my t zone

I have dry skin and use only one drop of the Hy-Glam primer. I mix it either in my moisturizer or with foundation, and it's all I need. I have yet to apply it all over, I didn't want too much moisture, since I live in South Florida. I'm not surprised Milana was oily by the end of the day, since you already have oily skin. I only use powder as foundation only if I'm out for a short time, like 2 to 4 hours. I would never expect it to be long wearing, all day. It's just not realistic. I am, however, very intrigued by the powder and will purchase it sometime in the future during a sale. I'm curious to see how it works over foundation as a setting powder.

I have the shade R2. My skin type is mostly dry. I really like this powder foundation. It matches my skin color exactly! I agree with you that combo or oily skin it may not work. I have worn it all day 8hrs at least and find it lasts. I truly love it. I never would have tried it. You made the sale, Thankyou!

Do you know how the shade compares to other powder foundation shades? E.g. MAC studio fix powder?

This is best used as a setting powder, it’s better than MUFE, no there’s not a drugstore alternative. It’s creamy, it’s made in Italy with high quality ingredients, it has SKINCARE. it’s $55 for a reason. It feels way softer and more buttery than any other pressed powder I’ve ever touched in my life. It literally could be sold at La prairie prices. ($100+) and I still think it’d be justified for how nice this powder is. Anywhere you look online there’s almost 5 star rating.

I also use the mufe powder foundation as a setting powder over my liquid foundation. Works great like that.

Very interesting considering I have the same skin condition that you have. I was considering getting a powder foundation also but I guess whatever formulation we have, none of either foundation will get rid of our oily skin. We’ll just have to go with our glow 🙂 So let’s glow !

Now, that i dont live in Florida and my face is more normal, im curious to see how this will work. It seems like a great makesup when you want something quick for a short time out. I would love for you to have someone without oily skin test it.

I looked up the ingredients in the ND primer. There's castor oil in the primer. Im wondering if that's why your skin got oily??

I think it would have no issues on a regular day, like going out to eat or a walk. Working like you are in the house, sweat wreaks havoc on the face. When working at home, I only use my normal facial creams, no make up. But I do understand that you are testing this make up and it certainly did look wonderful on your skin.

I also feel that of course your make up is going to be screwed up. If you don't take the excess oil off your face first and then pile powder on it of course it's gonna clump it's gonna do weird things. That's why we don't usually put concealer on top of powderand I don't know how we can really expect a powder foundation to have 10 hours plus of longevity it's not a liquid it's not not gonna happen
