Best PPV of 2020 -Toyota Fortuner vs Mitsubishi Montero vs Ford Everest vs Terra

Correction: the fortuner V only has fabric seats and a manual tail gate. It's the Q that has leather seats and a power tailgate. My apologies for the error. It doesnt affect the ranking of the V though as its still one of the best equipped models priced under 1.9m

So compared to the everest sport which has power tailgate, leather seats, auto headlights, auto rain wipers, auto dimming rearview mirrors, electric adjust seats and some other features missing in the fortuner V. It still doesnt affect your rating for mid range suvs? I see you as one of the more objective car reviewers out there so I don’t want this one flawed review affect my perception of this channel. @@mhoichai Hi honestly when i edited the video, i got some of the features mixed up and I thought that the V had leather seats and a power tailgate. but i still placed it ahead of the everest in terms of tech because it has a 360 camera and a wireless charging pad. Those are features that you currently cant get on any ppv under 1.9m. looking back on it now though, its not as clear of a win as I thought it was. ill see if i can edit the video to cut some of the errors out

@@jaywalkur hey man, i guess it all boils down to preference. I’d take the power leather seats, auto dim rear mirror, auto headlamps, auto wipers, power tailgate, 7 airbags, 20 inch wheels over 360 cam and wireless charging any day. But to your point, some people will prefer the latter like yourself. Thanks for your inputs overall and keep up the good content.

I had an Everest before. The one thing that I hated about it was the location of the ac vent. Its so close to the steering wheel and ends up just cooling your hands. Unlike the Terra and Fortuner which is located high up on the dash where you can aim it at your face which is really useful on a hot day.

Overall for me, the Fortuner wins this comparison. But for next year that recognition will go to the MU-X once the new generation model arrives here in the Philippines.

Where to start - there was some much missing from your review e.g. seating/comfort cargo space off road ability refinement etc etc. This the only review I have seen where a Fortune-r is rated better than an Everest, even a base model Everest. Guess the Aussie Fortune-r is a different model to the one you tested as the one I drove was rough and uncomfortable. Plus the folded 3rd row seats severely ate into the cargo space. Couldn’t care less about a charging pad.

Toyota has really upped their game with the new Fortuner! No longer does it sell just because of the Toyota badge, it now has the specs and performance to back up its sales figures. Good job Toyota PH for listening. This is definitely the most improved PPV from 2019 to 2020.

Right now, montero sport has the best value for money due to large discounts..you can get the top of the line 4x4 GT at 1.9M today..and other variant can get 300k discount on some dealers

There's no 4x4 V anymore for the 2021 models. The only 4x4 variant is the LTD and that comes with a power tailgate
