Best Practices; Inquiry Based Design in 4th grade

Working with real educational facilities planners from SchraderGroup Architects, 4th grade students at Blankenburg Elementary, an inner city public school in West Philadelphia re-designed and built models of their school as a high performance, "green" building. The video authentically demonstrates how such real-world, real-time Projects can be a powerful impetus for students to achieve curricular and civic proficiencies, "hands-on", across a variety of disciplines.
