Larger timeframes are better to trade less noise.

@@kaihoow88 All of them. Figure out where the stock is going on a 4h chart. Check the 1D chart and see how it's done over the last few years. Check the 1W chart and see how it's done over a decade. Check the 5m chart to see recent price action. Use a 10m or 15m chart to see how price action looks over the last few hours or the day in total. Check the 30m and 1h chart for the same things. You need to understand all of it. If you don't, you'll lose your trades and feel discouraged. Still, expect to blow up your account early. That's how you learn. Call it your "tuition" and don't let it discourage you--just make sure you learn from your mistakes.

So to sum it up, its a good idea to pay attention to the size and color of the candles when approaching support and resistance. If the candle has a longer red, bearish candle close to the support line, its likely to break downward at that support line, making it the new resistance line. If the red candle is short and red at the support line and the green candle is longer than the red candle, its a possible indicator of bullish activity and a good time to buy while monitoring the resistance level. Same rules apply as above so below.
