I think the rank will be massively effected by the embellishments, the meta embellishment for craftable gear is going to determine this tier list. I made millions making embellishments. Also, crafters are capped this time around, due to concentration and with no inspiration you cannot craft max level. Herbing and mining do not have that restriction, so comparing them is only possible when the concentration system has been determined

Hey Thraun, thanks for the great guide!! Just one question, in the tailoring chapter, why did you suggest multiple mages for an alt army? Sorry if it's a newbie question, but this really got me thinking :D

The fact you're saying gathering wont be profitable a few weeks into the exp is mental xD No way they are C teir bro, herbing and mining can make you a fortune long into the exp. Especially now t3 mats going to be rarer finds. And region wide ah just means mats always sell insantly, keeping prices nice and high and competitive. Also fishing for DM cards and the different patterns in the bottles was a huge gold maker. I think you wrong on gathering. But nice round up vid 👍 cheers.

As I mentioned in the video, it can be a good way to make some gold if you are looking for a more relaxed and steady way to make gold, but, let's face it, after a few weeks in the expansion, it's not going to be as efficient as crafting professions. Of course it can be good again when a new patch is released and new materials are introduced, but even then. The amount of gold you can make per hour is just not good enough imo to put it above a high C tier. But I understand why some people choose gathering over crafting.

I agree it will take some time for the bots to get sorted aswell, Rank 3 mats will have more of a purpose this time round. and you have to factor in time obtaining the profession knowledge to be able to gather/make the rank 3 reagents. For the casual player gathering will become more lucrative, especially considering delves give nodes aswell so thats kind of a forced way for everyone to passively gain more reagents from Brann. Only time will tell, just wish some youtubers could condense the videos and collate the knowledge more accurately rather than just talk about it.

Gathering in DF was great at the start of the xpac but nowadays its useless since you'll barely make 20k per hour. I believe the same will happen with TWW.

Looks like it's mostly gathering for me, I absolutely HATE crafting orders and barking in chat. All Blizz need to do is stop making f'ing anything with a little power BoP, let them be sold on the AH and let the crafting orders system be used for specialty items with specific reagents.

Dont agree with your predictions on Herbalism. Using the Goblin shredder completely eliminates the need to Botany's Mounted Gathering Perk. Additionally, you can get a phial to allow seeing camouflaged herbs, completely negating the needs for Sporefused elemental herbing.

@@thraungaming824 theyve overhauled gathering to where we don't always be getting r2 and r3 materials. So gathering is going to be much more profitable over a longer course in time

i dont think maxing the herbalism specialization for mount is good since u can use skygolem. btw skinning is better imo since u can lvl up very quick compare to mining/herbalism (plus u can get exp too by killing the beast) the sharpen knife skill will give u some good rare reagents. luring the beast also a good way to get rare reagents since the cd will reduce everytime u skin a creature

I still think it's good to take because when unlocking this you gain more vigor when herbing etc, so overall it will be more efficient. For skinning, tbh it's one of the only professions where I don't have a lot of knowledge on, so it might be better than what I think, but I would still add it as a C or B tier max.

@@thraungaming824 skinning imo one of the easiest since u can camp a spot where players doin quest killing beast & u just simply skin it for free. like u said the price will drop but for some rare hides i think it still worth it since it dont consume so much time

the answer is alchemy, daily cooldown gives massive amounts on first craft and you can make almost all reagents, so it will never be bad

I made a separate video on this. But basically, you buy them from the PVP vendor for 7.5k honor each. These are BoEs so people will also sell them on the AH

I've never found professions to be profitaable. You'd need to focus on it to get anywhere and even then, it's so expensive to progress, it's really a huge time and gold sink. There are easier ways to make gold thst aren't too boring and take less time. Most of the professions are a waste of time and some are ok but really personal use as a convenience. It's never been done well, the quality system is terrible and the mechanics are convaluted.

This is really far off the mark. Engineering will have a crap ton of competition for that mount bringing the price down and you will only sell it to some players and they will only buy one per account. Cooking, Fishing, Herb, Mine are consistent money throughout the expansion. Do you make a lot of gold per sale, no, but you sell all expansion long to the entire player base. Alchemy is very consistent gold throughout the entire expansion. Again you sell tons of items you make to the entire player base everyday. The other crafting professions have very high priced items that you only sell one of and then maybe re craft. They have make gold, but only on some items. So do you want to make a lot of gold once or twice, or some gold all the time. Consumables for Mythic Plus and Raiding have always been great consistent gold makers. But thank you for taking the time to make this, I did enjoy watching it.

I think it's all about how you want to make some goals and what's your objectives. Indeed, if you just want to make some casual gold in a more relaxed and steady way, then gathering is a good option. My issue is really with the fact that you are competing with people from the entire region and sadly sometimes some of these markets can crash pretty fast because if it's easy to make some gold that way, everyone is doing it. For alchemy I agree, maybe instead of a high B, I could have added it as an A tier. Now in terms of the other professions you mentioned, I agree and that's why I added them mainly as B tier and below Alchemy (BS, Leatherworking, etc). For Engineering, I think you're wrong tho. The mount will sell really well, and trust me, a lot of people will buy it so it will be in high demand. Also, as the mats are from a vendor, you can get some of them by choosing a specific specialization, then you can become very competitive. Also, why I added Engineering as the S tier because of the diversity of items you can craft and sell, it has a huge variety of things you can craft. So imo it will be a good option. But anyway, there's no perfect way to make some gold it depends a lot on what you like to do, your objectives, etc etc, so the most important is for you to follow what works best for you :)

Usless because you didnt mention that you cant craft pvp items only if you play some pvp to buy that item requirement and that item is 150 honor for one and 7500 honor for recip or buy it auction house and you did show them in general thats all

with fine you mean useless? never bothered professions until DF, I think the new system is just what it needed and i dont think it's complicated once u try it for yourself EDIT: ofc JC, Alchemy and enchanting had their uses and maybe tailoring for bags butr overall very boring
