Hello lovely review, it actually made me purchase this projector so thank you. I was just wondering if you could help me though, basically I connected up my fire stick so I can watch Netflix/prime etc, and I have noticed when I’m choosing something to watch the fire stick is blurry but then when I watch the film it’s not. Any ideas 💡

I have a love and hate relationship with this exact projector. The image is not as sharp as I expected it to be. My Epson 720p projector has sharper image but displays pixels so I bought this in hope that it would take its place. It has, but sharpness isn't as good as I am used to on my Epson. There is no manual zoom which is annoying and the digital zoom is actually just a zoom in and not a zoom out. Sound is very good though. I don't think you will need a pair of separate speakers with it. Fan noise is acceptable and not noticeable when watching movies. Running in daylight is not recommended at all. You will just waste you time watching a movie on it. You need a pitch black room for it to truly appreciate its picture. Colors are good. There are some settings you can tweak to make them better but they are all present (vivid, warm and light etc.) No manual color correction. Menu lag is annoying. (2 sec) IOS screen mirroring works but disconnects quite frequently. Not tested Android. There is a firmware update available but always fails whenever I've tried over the internet. Keystroke correction is a good feature if you'll be moving this beast around in backpack it came in. Its size is pretty big and chunky in my opinion and its heavy. The menu on the device and remote control is pretty straightforward. The focus wheel is a bit fiddly and when I move it, it feels like its going to come off any minute. Also, there is too much play in it. I paid around £200 after discount from Amazon. Its a good projector for the price. Hope this review of mine helps you in deciding whether to buy or miss it.

@@SeenThroughaLens Thanks for your input. I’m returning it and hopefully getting Epson that I’ve already tested over the years. I need something with manual zoom and a quieter fan. Epson eco mode does that trick but thanks anyway.

There is a bit of noise but you get used to it quite quickly. All of these projectors need a lot of cooling so it’s no different to any other. Maybe a pure LED might need less cooling.

The problem with these Chinese brand items is always the fact that if you have a problem, where do you take it to? service? you're screwed, you have to throw it away. Too risky, even if it is very tempting.
