Another good QOL mod is pocket metro guide It lets you choose any two metro stations in the map and shows the progress while you ride, and any transfers when necessary. Super helpful for people who like the immersion factor. The dark future mod is also pretty good because it makes resting, food, drink, and medicine more useful and varied even if you disable the survival aspects of it

Default minimap already zooms out now. I had a mod for this when the game came out, but that's not really necessary anymore. I'm fine without it.

yeah i saw another comment about that saying the same thing, the animations etc. that does make alot of sense now, but idk if im wrong here, earlier on when the game first released wasent there ray tracing for v. at one point it was headless ray tracing. but even so just chuck on a head with okay ray traced v and bam we good but yeah makes sense as to why its not in game

possibly, these mods in this video dont have much if any impact performance wise, there was meant to be a LOD mod that makes LOD distance better that i had on this list BUT it took a huge hit to performance so i decided against it, what mods would you be wondering about for performance impact?

@@GannaGame I was thinking about a tier list or maybe something like "common mods that are awesome but will reduce performance" you know? I have 200+ mods installed and I always wondered which ones were the most impactful in that aspect e.g. (obviously) texture mods, clothing mods, qol mods, the size of the file, etc... I also noticed that the more modded items you have in your stash there more unstable the framerate becomes but I'm not sure if it's just a me problem or just a normal thing.

@@GannaGame The reason is actually quite simple. Since Cyberpunk is a first person game, they never bothered to implement proper third person animations for stuff like weapons and swinging blades, which causes some things to look very odd in third person.This would also translate to the raytraced reflection, so thats most likely why they didn't make that an option.

Hardcore mode is not for everyone. I am already at lvl 50 maybe in lower levels works better? I can mow everything with one shot kills so instead of getting more difficult the hard core mode made things easier. The mod is good if it was only to debuff V.

Better Minimap hasn't been updated since 2022. It's quite out of date. I would recommend many other minimap mods over that one in late 2024.

For this video I had the EVOLut installed, it's quite good if you ask me and the graphics I use when recording is max ray tracing, lens flare on the other tick boxes like depth of field and film grain off, but the EVOLut would be the bigger change

Author of the mod here... It technically does the same thing, but uses an in-game interaction menu instead of a CET overlay/NativeUI menu (though does use either of those types of menus for the mod's settings), so is accessible quicker and with a controller (CET overlay needs keyboard to open, but NativeUI does already support controller)... Also, it supports additional weather states added from "Env" mods without requiring any 'addon' patches or anything for them... It also has an optional feature that will force the selected weather state when you load into a savegame, and ensure it stays locked in :)

@FiredUpFox i looked into the files of all three mods - first glance they dont seem to be doing the same thing. maybe im wrong? did you encounter any issue running them all together? what exactly is better with only better vehicle handling - or whats the issue with the other two mods? @GannaGame i cant see why gravity and downforce shouldnt be recommended anymore.^^ i use both and (videos online - btw i used to race irl) i can only say the result is more realistic than without and recommend them.​

@@MikeGrau0hr from memory better vehicle handling did f all, theese other car driving mods i recommended was an instant improvement, i did notice that the (cant remember the name, base games fastest car) had slight issues where it was slightly in the ground the wheels after installing the car mods, other then that seemed quite nice, i just wanna know what driving mods to use that make the best improvement, gravity downforce as well as better vehicle handling, or like some other combo

@@GannaGame you mean the caliburn i think - yea wheels clipping through the ground is an engine issue. imo its more important to fix the vanilla driving feel.^^ i would just continue to go for the magic 4: Gripped Up (to fix the icy feeling), CyberDrift (to be able to do more advanced drifts, ie full hairpins), and Dynamic Downforce/Gravity (to fix the floaty feeling you get on bumps). together they give way more control in realistic ways. :) and cms is just an great addition to be able to change power and grip immersively ingame - without the need to close the game and edit files with text editor. but not necessary if someone doesnt like to increase speeds for example - the other 4 i consider necessary. better vehicle handling used to be outdated? i didnt realize it got updated a month ago. i have to do some testing when i find the time but id assume in the best case its a nice addition but i cant see why we should stop using the other mods which already work great.^^

It's very difficult for mods to have a problem with a cracked version, but if you're in doubt just get it from gog-games, because it's DRM free, you basically have the raw game to download, with little or no changes to the direct gog files.

What @jairelias said I'd assume, alot of people have had alot of issues trying to mod cracked cyberpunk, but Im sure there's a way, it's mostly when there are mod updates and game updates it stops the cracked version from working with mods (that's my understanding)
