The thing about R6 Tier list I noticed is that most operators are just viable and you can really play anything. Some ops are going to give you an easier time, but you are generally not throwing by just picking someone.

Honestly, I 100% agree with your tierlist, Garfield. Most notably: Mute is almost a must pick this season and is always useful even before Deimos came out. Rook, I've really only play him if I know my teammates are overly roaming and wouldn't come back to site. Really, he just shouldn't be played unless you are in the lower ranks of Ranked 2.0. Clash, I definitely agree. And lastly, Castle...definitely in my opinion such a slept on Operator. I play him all the time and I knew exactly what you were getting at. Great tierlist ❤

Jackal is great for roam clear and putting pressure on roamers. His ping should only be for him to see and when his visor is on so he isnt nearly as oppressive, and solis can see him pushing.

I would switch fuze for iana and ying. Reason being fuze doesnt bring that much if you have great roamers and most people are fuzing not the best way in solo q. Iana brings so much info and not only that but flashes too. Ying is just 4 flashes with smoke to cover the plant or hard breach to make holes in the wall.

They aren't even the same function, also Zero is much better than Iana for info. Fuze has too much destructive power, any bomb with a window, a ceiling or a reinforced wall is good for him.

I get what you say with that fuze buy if you are against a diamond or champ they hear you place the fuze on the window and blast your head off pr c4 you. Plus roamers counters fuzes ceiling. Your almost never in the capability to deploy it on walls I found in high ranks.

I'm a very new player, I mostly play buck/rook, I'm glad to see buck is good, but what would you recommend I play for defense instead of rook? Someone who Is easy to pick up for newer players but is also pretty strong

I’m not much of a high rank player but as he said in the video, Doc is better than Rook and functions similar so I suppose Doc would be a great alternative for you. Especially when they share the same primary weapon.

Like the list, but I truly don’t understand the love for Deimos. He is so easy to counter and his value is very situational. I’ve won rounds because he reveals his position to me where I can prefire him with an automatic gun that outclasses his pistol.

I agree situational at best, for the average solo q Andy Deimos is so so. In pro play Deimos really shines… anyone using Deimos to track any op that isn’t suspected of roaming or is a dedicated roamer to begin with is going to struggle. It really all goes back to information. Is picking Deimos after my team spotted cav on the other team viable to clear roam? 100% is picking Deimos in a copper lobby where everyone sits on or right next to site viable? Probably not. Your average solo q lobby is not really taking comp of the enemy team into account outside of if they need to bring emps. No one is picking dedicated roam clear below diamond or emerald that’s for sure

I like these tier lists but imo every operator can be viable if you put in the time to learn how to properly use there utility. Everyone calls send trash but he can be a great attacker if you learn to use his gadget effectively.(Edit: this applies for every op except oryx literal worst op in the game and it’s not even close idk why they even added him)

Most of my match on QP are ether quite or i end up muting the other person especially when they dont shut up while am clutching . I think this tier list is pretty good but I disagree with some ops. I think ash should be in A tier, i dont think the utillity she brings is enough over a flores or zof unless there is a mira in play I would put frost and jager in A mainly based off their guns, great utility for both as you said but not enough over the guns to put in S imo I think fuse should be B, i like his guns, utility and his ability is good but he is pretty useless on top floor sites I think ace should be in A, while i understand as a hard breacher he is not as good as thermite so i dont think he should be brought alone as main hard breach on a lot of sites, but his gun is one of the best and he is just super versatile I would also put capitao to A he has great guns, and with the gonne 6, hard breach/emps and his main gadgets i think he brings so much useful utillity that he is a great pick in a lot of rounds

Echo is one of my fav ops so I’m biased but after his drone lost its cloak I think everyone kinda just wrote him off and didn’t bother to adapt and adjust their play style with him. He can still offer intel, assist roamers, deny plant etc. Extremely versatile as he can roam or anchor with a loadout that’s only defensively rivaled by mute/smoke, allowing him to play vertically aswell if he wishes. Only buff he needs imo is ACOG on his mp5sd,I mean they gave it to melusi rook and doc so idk what’s up with that. I just don’t understand why goyo has an ACOG on his vector but echo doesn’t have it on his mp5?? Doesn’t make sense to me at all but nothing they have done has in the last like half decade, hell they removed smokes shield and gave it to pulse like explain that one😂 who tf is using shield on pulse lol. Sorry for the rant but yea I fw echo heavy, definitely underrated due to meta changes and over saturation of playable ops

1. Garfield, you're the best, and this is a great list. 2. Im from wisconsin and love drinking, but no. Im not taking a shot everytime you yawn dude, a, you pretty much would be fucked out of any semblence of yourself, but b, you probably need to go to the liquor store after and youre to drunk now. 3. This is a great list, but on console now with the shield rework oryx is at least situational. Yeah i kill blitz with a c4 but what am i now supposed to do with fucking monty and fuse? Also, youre really good and usually the last to die, so thats why you think docs better than thunderbird. If you roll with the shotty bearing 9 loadout, i think her guns are better, and if you play two kona together you grt healed pretty quick. Full disclosure, im a thunderbird main and still and always and more recently extremely hella upset about her nerf because everybody is running shields. She needs her c4 or impacts back. 4. So alot of these ops you rate based on how they should be played, but then others you rate lower because of how your teamates play, i just think you should rate all opps on an ideal situation if you were in an ideal fivestack.
