Great question, Haven't had any issues with using non Sony chargers (apple,Samsung or Amazon certified). Also this charging station has built-in short circuit protection. Works great everytime! Thanks for asking!

@@TechMarkGaming Thank you for the response. I'm from Brazil, and the PlayStation Portal was launched here yesterday. I bought mine during the pre-sale. It took forever, haha. I’m going to buy a charging station like this one, my only concern was about the battery's health. Thank you!

Dude... I bought this based on your review, and I immediately returned it. It's a real pain in the neck to plug into the portal, and it doesn't fit firmly on the dock. There is another charging dock on Amazon made by ace gamer that is 100% better than this garbage.
